Overview

The service generates songs with melody, rhythm, and vocals, or instrumentals, with tracks up to eight minutes long. Controls for genre, mood, tempo, instruments, and structure let users steer a piece toward a project’s needs instead of relying on a broad prompt alone. MP3 and WAV exports cover common delivery formats; paid plans include higher bitrates.

Beyond generation, the toolkit includes AI lyrics, singing voice and song cover tools, vocal removal, stem splitting, mastering, and audio-to-MIDI conversion. Users can upload vocals or instrumentals and create custom voices. That makes AI Song Creator more versatile than a prompt-to-song tool, though each plan’s monthly allowances still set a firm ceiling on output.

Key features

Prompt and lyric generation: Users can begin with a text prompt or their own lyrics, then shape genre, mood, tempo, instrumentation, and structure. The controls are useful when a track needs to fit a particular brief; the eight-minute maximum also accommodates longer pieces than short cues.
Production tools: Vocal removal, stem splitting, mastering, and audio-to-MIDI conversion extend the service into post-generation work. Vocal and instrumental uploads and custom voice creation add options for creators working with existing material.
Rights and certificates: Paid-plan tracks include a commercial license, while free-plan output is limited to personal use. Annual subscribers can download a license certificate for each eligible track, a useful record for commercial projects.
Privacy and support: The service says it uses SSL/TLS encryption, secure servers, and access controls, while acknowledging that no online system can be guaranteed fully secure. It collects account and billing details, device and usage information, and generation prompts; Stripe, PayPal, and Google Analytics are named as examples of third-party providers. Email support runs Monday to Friday, with replies typically within 48 business hours, except that the free plan has no email support.

Pricing

AI Song Creator is freemium, with a free plan and three paid tiers. The paid prices are monthly rates billed yearly; the plans say users can cancel anytime.

Plan	Price	Monthly allowance and terms
Free	Free	2 songs, 1 music generation, 1 concurrent task, downloads, personal use only, no email support
Basic	10.49 USD per month (billed $125.92 billed yearly. Cancel anytime.)	200 songs, 100 music generations, 2 concurrent tasks, commercial license, up to 1000 downloads, email support
Standard	20.99 USD per month (billed $251.92 billed yearly. Cancel anytime.)	500 songs, 250 music generations, 5 concurrent tasks, commercial license, unlimited downloads, 24/7 email support
Premium	34.99 USD per month (billed $419.92 billed yearly. Cancel anytime.)	1200 songs, 600 music generations, 10 concurrent tasks, commercial license, unlimited downloads, 24/7 email support

The free tier is suitable for occasional personal experiments, but one generation per month makes iteration difficult and its rights do not cover commercial work. Basic is the entry point for paid projects: its 100 generations and 200 songs per month provide room for regular use, with a commercial license, though downloads stop at 1,000. Standard and Premium remove that download ceiling and raise both output quotas and simultaneous task limits; they fit heavier production workloads. Annual subscribers can also download certificates for eligible tracks.

Platforms

AI Song Creator runs on the web. That keeps it accessible through a browser, but the platform listing does not include native desktop or mobile apps.

Who it's for

YouTubers, podcasters, filmmakers, and musicians are the clearest fit: they can generate original tracks and use the included audio tools, while paid tiers provide commercial rights. It is less suitable for anyone needing unrestricted commercial use at no cost, or for a creator whose workload exceeds the monthly quotas and requires more concurrent tasks.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad creative toolkit: Song generation sits alongside vocal, stem, mastering, and MIDI tools, reducing the need to switch services for those tasks.
Useful direction controls: Genre, mood, tempo, instruments, and structure offer more control than a prompt-only workflow.
Commercial licensing on paid plans: Paid tiers support business and client projects, with certificates available for eligible tracks on annual subscriptions.

Cons

Free use is narrow: One generation and two songs per month, plus personal-use-only rights, make the free tier a sampler rather than a practical commercial option.
Paid billing is annual: Although prices are expressed per month and cancellation is allowed, the stated billed-yearly totals mean the advertised monthly figure is not a month-to-month commitment.
Web only: Users seeking a native app for desktop or mobile will need another workflow.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison of cover-focused tools, see AI song cover generators.

Choose Revocalize AI if voice conversion is the priority: its free plan includes five conversion minutes per month and one Starter AI voice, and it supports Android, iOS, desktop, web, API, extension, and self-hosted use. BeMusic AI Cover is another option for cover creation, with a Creator plan at 12.00 USD per month billed yearly and support across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.

Applio is a free, open-source, MIT-licensed alternative with no accounts or paywalls. Media.io AI Song Cover Generator offers a free trial across web and mobile. SunoMV is an option for lyric-synced video, with a free preview for personal, non-commercial use. InsMelo AI Beat Maker and Kits AI are other freemium alternatives; SingUp AI is available on Android and iOS.

Verdict

AI Song Creator is a sensible choice for creators who want prompt- or lyric-driven songs plus a set of audio editing and conversion tools in one web service. Paid plans make the clearest case, combining commercial rights with meaningful monthly quotas. Look elsewhere if you need commercial use without a subscription, a native app, or a workflow that is not bounded by these monthly allowances.
