In their own words

AIGardenPlanner

AIGardenPlanner uses AI to preview garden and planting designs from a photo of a real yard. Users upload a photo, choose from more than 50 styles and generate designs in about 60 seconds. Its free browser-based 3D editor has more than 400 models, synchronized 2D and 3D views, terrain sculpting and first-person walkthroughs. The AI Plant Advisor builds plant lists using location, climate zone, soil type, local conditions and gardening goals, with care instructions. Plant Detector identifies plants from photos and provides profiles and health assessments for pests and diseases. The free 3D Designer plan allows one project. Paid yearly plans include Starter for personal use, while Professional and Business include commercial licenses; plan prices are listed as $9/mo, $21/year and $42/year respectively, with annual payments of $99, $249 and $499. Picogen

Picogen is a free outdoor ray-tracing system for generating large terrain scenes with realistic illumination across day and night and detailed plant populations. It supports procedural scene work through SSDF userspace scripting and heightfield objects. Implemented rendering choices include Whitted-style rendering and path tracing. Materials include fully diffuse Lambertian and perfect mirror specular types, while Height-Slang programmable materials and shaders support terrain. A sun-sky global setting controls scene lighting, and cameras provide yaw, pitch, and roll controls. Picogen is licensed under GPL version 3 or later and runs on Linux and Windows. Linux downloads include 32-bit and 64-bit packages for Debian, Ubuntu, and similar distributions, plus tarballs. Windows offers an installer and portable zip or 7zip archives. Source code, a no-signup forum, and wiki documentation are available. The roadmap lists several features as unimplemented, including a graphical interface.
