In their own words
AIM Previz
AIM Previz is a pre-visualization platform for creative work from script planning through screening, with continuity controls to carry choices across shots. Its six modes include an infinite board, script breakdown, storyboard, keyframe, 3D scene staging, and motion generation. Users can lock cast, wardrobe, props, set, and grade. The toolkit describes more than 45 cameras, 21 lenses, and 200 graded look profiles. Outputs include progressive upscaling and named, separated layers for organized PSD export, as well as individual frames, ZIP archives, and professional formats. The maker says its orchestration routes work across 99 generative engines for video, image, audio, and 3D. Generation uses credits per action, and motion rates vary by footage duration and engine; the app shows the rate before a run. It runs on the web and through an API. The Free plan is free and provides 50 credits a month, all rooms and tools, and a seven-day Pro trial with 150 credits. Pro costs $29 a month; Creator $80 a month; Studio $199 a month. Creator seats cost $450 a month.
ShotPro
ShotPro is a previsualization tool for planning stories and scenes, aimed at productions, schools, indie groups, and individuals. Projects organize scenes into sequences that users can order, rename, annotate, and build from supplied or custom templates. A 2D mode sets character, camera, and prop movements; 3D mode helps refine a scene's appearance. ProCam controls include aperture, focus distance, ISO, shutter speed, lens size, depth of field, and camera shake. Users can import FBX objects, audio, 3D characters, and images, including images with alpha channels. The timeline supports camera movements and cuts, voiceovers, text, print markers, and face-capture tracks, though some tracks require expansion packs. Movies of projects or scenes can be exported up to 4K at 24, 30, or 60 fps, and storyboard frames can be printed with notes. An iOS-only AR expansion pack overlays 3D objects on a live camera view and records the result. Standalone Single costs $35, paid once for one Mac or Windows machine; ShotPro S Monthly costs $9.99 a month and includes expansion packs.
