In their own words
AIMP
AIMP is a free audio player for Windows, Linux, and Android, with network playback and support for a wide range of listed formats. These include APE, MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, MP4, M4A, AAC, OPUS, DSF, AIFF, MIDI, WMA, AC3, DTS, and MPEG-DASH, as well as tracker formats such as MOD, MO3, S3M, MTM, and XM. Its format list also includes CDA, RMI, SPX, TAK, and others. AIMP does not support subtitles, and 4K playback is listed as unavailable. The maker is AIMP, which was founded in 2006. With versions listed for desktop systems and Android, it covers those three platforms without a stated purchase price. Its format breadth may be useful for listeners whose libraries contain varied audio and tracker file types, while the listed limitations matter if subtitle or 4K playback is required.
