Melissa Global Address Verification checks and corrects billing and shipping addresses at entry or in batches, covering more than 250 countries and territories. It standardizes results for mailing labels according to local country standards, returns parsed address components, and can append latitude and longitude coordinates. Addresses can also be transliterated to or from the native language of the input country. The service is available through public cloud or on-premise deployment; for on-premise use, its library and data files sit on the customer’s own servers. Melissa says its public cloud is hosted in a secure, private environment, undergoes SOC 2 audits, and stores no PII data.
