In their own words
AirMore
AirMore connects an Android or iOS mobile device to a PC wirelessly, allowing users to transfer and manage data in a PC browser. It can move photos, music and videos between the devices and play music and videos in the browser. The interface also handles documents, including text, Word, Excel, EPUB and PDF files. On Android, users can view call logs and notifications, manage contacts, and send or manage messages from the browser. AirMore offers wireless screenshots and an Android screen reflector that displays the phone screen on a computer. Its local connection mode uses the same Wi-Fi network to transfer files; AirMore says files transferred this way are not stored on its server, which supplies the QR code and connection data. The homepage says transfers support HTTPS and device access requires user permission. AirMore works in a PC browser without a client or plugin and has a free plan. Its Backup & Restore feature is marked as under construction.
Android Switch
Android Switch copies apps and data from an Android or iOS phone or tablet to an Android device. The classic method uses a cable or the Android Switch app; the upgraded method supports cable or wireless transfer. For wireless pairing with an iPhone, scan the QR code displayed on the new Android phone using the old iPhone’s camera.
Transfers can include contacts, calendars, photos, and videos. The upgraded method also supports items such as call history, passwords, Wi-Fi networks, eSIMs, app data, files and folders, and passkeys. WhatsApp history moves during setup with the classic cable method, but transfers separately after setup with the upgraded method. That upgraded method is available on select devices running Android 17, with broader availability planned. On Pixel 9 and newer devices, data can move after setup even without the other device. Only free apps available on Google Play can transfer; paid apps or subscriptions may require contacting their developers. eSIM availability depends on the phone brand and carrier. The app is free, has no trial, and Google Play says it is already installed on Android devices.
