AirMore vs FoneTool

AirMore connects an Android or iOS mobile device to a PC wirelessly, allowing users to transfer and manage data in a PC browser. It can move photos, music and videos between the devices and play music and videos in the browser. The interface also handles documents, including text, Word, Excel, EPUB and PDF files. On Android, users can view call logs and notifications, manage contacts, and send or manage messages from the browser. AirMore offers wireless screenshots and an Android screen reflector that displays the phone screen on a computer. Its local connection mode uses the same Wi-Fi network to transfer files; AirMore says files transferred this way are not stored on its server, which supplies the QR code and connection data. The homepage says transfers support HTTPS and device access requires user permission. AirMore works in a PC browser without a client or plugin and has a free plan. Its Backup & Restore feature is marked as under construction.

FoneTool provides tools for transferring, managing, and backing up iOS device data. Its mobile app moves photos, videos, music, and contacts between iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android devices; users can preview files and select individual items or transfer all. With the app installed on both devices, transfers do not require Wi-Fi or cellular data. The Windows desktop app adds backup and transfer, iPhone switching, WhatsApp management, data erasure, and HEIC conversion. Product pages also list WhatsApp backup and transfer, iCloud management, and separate repair and unlocking products. The free edition backs up or transfers photos, music, videos, contacts, and messages from iPhone to PC. FoneTool is available for Android, iOS, and Windows; the Android app requires Android 7.0 or later. The current version does not back up or restore photos, videos, Animoji, or other attachments in SMS. Paid plans include FoneTool Pro at $39.95 a year or $59.95, paid once, alongside yearly and lifetime Repair Pro and Unlocker Pro plans.
