In their own words
AirServer
AirServer turns a computer into a receiver for screen mirroring from compatible AirPlay, Google Cast, and Miracast devices. Receiver software is listed for Windows, Mac, Xbox, Surface Hub, and Embedded Linux, while the platform listing also includes Android, iOS, and Linux. AirServer Connect for iOS discovers receivers across subnets, and its Android app adds AirPlay mirroring. Connect 3 combines AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and Miracast in one receiver, supporting up to 12 simultaneous 1080p sessions at 60 FPS, with unlimited sessions beyond that. It supports Google Cast playback from DRM-protected apps including Disney+, National Geographic, and Amazon Prime. Sessions stay local, and 802.1X protection is supported. Central management, reporting, and updates require no subscription fee; offline updates can use USB. Most licenses are one-time purchases. Consumer pricing is $19.99 once, business is $39.99 once, and Surface Hub is $99.99 per year.
ViewSonic AirSync
ViewSonic AirSync mirrors a device screen wirelessly to ViewSonic displays through a sender app or web browser. It supports AirPlay, Google Cast, Miracast, and AirSync Sender screen sharing. Hosts can moderate requests, while multiple presenters can share screens at once; capacity varies by IFP model from four to six. Display Grouping can broadcast one display to as many as 10 ViewSonic screens on the same local network segment. AirSync supports LAN and internet connections, but Web Sender is limited to internet connections and lacks touch feedback, incoming IFP screens, pen strokes, and high-quality sharing. The Sender app offers touchback from compatible ViewBoard displays on Windows, macOS, Android, and iPad. ViewSonic describes end-to-end encryption and centralized control through ViewSonic Manager. AirSync is intended for ViewSonic displays; specified older CDE and IFP models continue with myViewBoard Display and vCast. Sessions last 180 minutes by default and can be extended twice, up to nine hours. Pricing starts at $62, and a free plan is listed.
