Overview

Guest management ties RSVP status, dietary needs and plus-ones to table assignments, while budgets and vendor records sit alongside checklists. That joined-up approach suits people who want a single planning setup rather than separate lists for each task. Free includes one wedding and one collaborator, so it is better suited to an individual or couple planning one smaller event than to a team managing several weddings.

Key features

Vendor records hold contacts, contracts, payment due dates and notes; the budget tracker groups expenses by category. Together, these give couples a place to keep supplier and spending details in context. The visual seating chart uses drag-and-drop, but Free allows only two tables. That may be enough early in planning, but it is a meaningful constraint for a reception that needs a larger floor plan.

Users can create unlimited links to selected wedding details, protect them with passwords and turn them off. This gives couples control over what they share without imposing a link quota. Premium also adds a Guest Album: invitees can upload photos and videos through a link or QR code without an account, and the album supports Google Drive connection.

Native iOS and Android apps provide push notifications and real-time sync across devices, alongside web access. Accounts can be created with email or accessed through Google sign-in. The FAQ says data is encrypted in transit and at rest, systems are regularly audited, and wedding information is not shared with third parties without explicit consent. Support accepts feature and bug questions by email, with the team aiming to respond within 24 hours.

Pricing

Marry Planner is freemium, with a free plan and Premium at 49.99 USD per year, billed annually at $49.99. The pricing note gives the equivalent starting rate as $4.17/mo (annual). Premium includes a 2-month free trial, unlimited weddings, guests, vendors, collaborators, seating tables and exports. It is the relevant plan for larger guest lists, multi-event planners, or anyone who needs more than two tables; unlimited collaborators also make it better suited to shared planning.

Free is billed Free forever and includes one wedding, up to 30 guests and one collaborator, plus unlimited vendors, venues, budget tracking and checklist items. It preserves the core planning tools, but the guest ceiling and two-table seating limit sharply narrow its fit. There is a discrepancy for older accounts: accounts created before October 2026 retain a 50-guest limit, while the pricing page gives Free a 30-guest limit.

Platforms

Marry Planner runs on web, iOS and Android. The native mobile apps add push notifications and sync changes across devices, making it practical for couples or collaborators who plan from different devices.

Who it's for

Couples planning one wedding can start with Free if the guest list and seating needs fit its caps. Premium is a better match for larger celebrations, broader collaboration or multiple weddings. The FAQ also identifies wedding planners and others involved in planning as intended users; the unlimited weddings and collaborators in Premium support that wider use.

Pros and cons

Pro: Guest details connect to seating assignments, keeping RSVPs, dietary needs and table planning together.
Pro: Free retains unlimited vendors, venues, budget tracking and checklist items, even with one wedding and one collaborator.
Pro: Unlimited, password-protected share links can be disabled, so sharing can be tailored and withdrawn.
Con: Free's 30-guest limit and two-table cap may be too restrictive for a larger wedding; the 50-guest allowance applies only to accounts created before October 2026.
Con: Premium is billed annually at 49.99 USD per year, so the stated $4.17/mo rate is not a month-to-month price.

Alternatives

Folia is worth considering when web access and a higher free guest allowance matter most: its Free plan supports up to 500 guests, up to 10 vendors and budget tracking, while Monthly costs 11.99 USD per month.

NevaPlan Wedding Planner may suit a smaller event where a one-time purchase is preferable: its free plan covers up to 15 guests, while its wedding planner lifetime license costs 49.99 USD once. ForeverAfter is another freemium option, with unlimited guests on Starter and mobile as well as web access.

RSVPify is a web and mobile alternative whose Free plan covers 100 guests. WeddingWire Planning Tools is a free planning option across web, iOS and Android. Zennvue, Lumière and Colara are other alternatives to compare.

Verdict

Choose Marry Planner if you want guest management, budgets, vendors and seating tied together, with web and native mobile access. Free is a sensible starting point for a small wedding, but its guest and table ceilings are decisive; choose Premium for larger plans or multiple events, and look elsewhere if those limits or annual billing do not suit your needs.
