AIT AI Tools vs Recraft

AIT AI Tools is a web platform for textile designers creating seamless patterns and preparing designs for production. Pattern tools cover text-to-pattern and reference-based creation, style transfer, extraction, expansion, inpainting, and editing. Production preparation includes repeat repair, upscaling, color separation, vectorization, background removal, and colorway development. Users can preview designs on 2D and 3D wear designs, product mockups, and AI-generated scenes. Archivist indexes an existing pattern archive for natural-language, code, tag, and visual-similarity search without requiring folder reorganization. Permissions can be set by user and collection, and collection access can be revoked. AIT says generated designs remain private to the account and are not used to train its models; it also says its models are developed in-house and user data is hosted on its own local servers. Free accounts receive 20 credits per day and have one to two uses per tool in a rolling four-hour window. Individual costs $39 a month. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.

Recraft provides text-to-image generation, reference image support and image editing, with output in SVG, PNG, JPG, PDF, TIFF and Lottie formats. API access is available, and API is the listed platform. Its free plan includes 30 daily credits. Monthly AI credits are listed as 1,000 credits per month, alongside the plan-specific credit amounts. Commercial use is limited. Recraft was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in London, United Kingdom. The free plan offers a way to use the product without a listed subscription price, while the named tiers specify progressively larger credit totals. The combination of image generation, editing, references and multiple export formats may be relevant to people creating or modifying visual assets, including those who need vector and raster outputs.
