Akamai Guardicore Segmentation
Akamai Guardicore Segmentation uses microsegmentation to limit lateral movement, contain breaches, and support Zero Trust strategies. It can set policies down to process and service level, while mapping application dependencies and network flows for real-time and historical analysis. The views include user- and process-level activity. Guided templates and AI-assisted suggestions support policy creation. Management can be cloud-based or on premises, with agent-based enforcement and agentless options for in-cloud PaaS, IoT, and OT. Akamai describes coverage across legacy systems, cloud, Kubernetes, IoT, and OT, and names AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Active Directory, VMware, ServiceNow, and F5 among supported sources. Threat features include reputation analysis for suspicious domains, IPs, and file hashes, plus policy-based detection of unauthorized communications. Pricing is on request; there is no free plan, though a free trial is listed. Premium and Elite support tiers offer 24x7x365 availability. Agent support depends on a license for Guardicore Segmentation or certain other named products.
