AKASA Platform provides generative AI solutions for healthcare revenue cycle teams at hospitals and health systems. Its tools can automate complete workflows or assist specialists with individual tasks. Listed offerings include prebill optimization, coding and clinical documentation improvement optimization, AI Advisor, authorization status, and claim status. AKASA says its healthcare-specific models use clinical and financial data, including 57 million clinical documents, and can be fine-tuned on a health system’s own data. Standards-based API and EDI integrations connect with clinical data repositories such as EHRs. The platform includes configurable production reports, peer benchmarking, and regular guidance from a dedicated account manager. AKASA describes HIPAA-compliant security and lists HITRUST CSF, SOC 2, NIST-800-53, and CIS. It says FIPS 140-2-compliant encryption protects data at rest and in transit, with 24/7 automation monitoring. No on-premise installation is required. Pricing is available on request; the Prebill Optimization Suite is separately described as performance-based with no upfront fees and billing after measurable financial improvement.
GetMax
GetMax is a revenue cycle management platform for US healthcare, with a stated scope spanning eligibility, coding, billing, prior authorization, A/R follow-up, denial management, and payment posting. Its live Practice Portal offers eligibility checks, A/R summaries, denials and appeals, fee schedule lookup, underpayment detection, and provider search. The coding assistant proposes ICD-10 and CPT codes, validates them against the live NIH ICD-10-CM set with deterministic rules, and flags ambiguous cases for certified-coder review. It can build claims in CMS-1500, X12 837P, FHIR, and XML formats. Other described AI workflows include claim pre-checks, denial routing by root cause, worklist prioritization, and payer-rule memory. GetMax says it connects with existing EHRs and clearinghouses, without naming specific systems. The Practice Portal and coding assistant are live; eligibility, prior authorization, denials, and collections agents are in build. The coding demo is free to try, with no sign-in, trial timer, or card. Revenue cycle pricing is quoted as a percentage of collections, varying by specialty, claim volume, payer mix, and scope.
