In their own words

Albion Online Launcher

Albion Online Launcher provides access to Albion Online, a sandbox MMORPG set in the medieval fantasy world of Albion. It is free to download and play, with optional Premium subscriptions and in-game purchases. Players gather resources, craft weapons and armor, trade through local marketplaces, and build farms and furnished homes on private islands. The player-driven world lets players create nearly every weapon and building. Its equipment-based role system lets players change what they do by changing what they wear, rather than choosing from fixed classes. Activities include PvE, PvP, and large guild-versus-guild battles; danger zones use full-loot combat. The game is listed for Windows, Android, iOS, macOS, and Linux. Xbox appears in the FAQ but is not on the download page’s client list. Premium status adds a Fame boost, 30 Learning Points per day, and 10,000 Focus Points per day. Account Guard sends an email security code for sign-ins from a new device or location.

RetroBat

RetroBat is a free, open-source Windows frontend for organizing and playing retro game ROM collections. It supports more than 230 consoles and computers and can run from a PC, hard drive, or USB key. The setup does not include emulator programs; an internet connection is required to download additional emulators. Library metadata can be scraped from ScreenScraper, TheGamesDB, HFSDB, ArcadeDB, and IGDB. ScreenScraper is the default and requires credentials. Retrieved information may include ratings, images, videos, maps, manuals, and pad-to-key settings. RetroBat also lists downloadable themes, shaders, bezels, netplay, cheats, save states, and rewind. Major Windows-compatible controllers should work, with X-Input recommended for best compatibility. Supported operating systems are Windows 11, Windows 10, and Windows 8.1. The plan is free, and help is available through Discord, the forum, and the FAQ.
