Alex AI
Alex AI is a recruiting platform from Apriora Inc., doing business as Alex. It covers outreach, resume screening, candidate interviews, verification, and scheduling while keeping the hiring team involved throughout. Talent Match uses natural-language matching to rediscover qualified past applicants in an applicant tracking system. Resume scoring compares candidates with role criteria and summarizes strengths, gaps, and alignment in plain language. Alex runs personalized two-way screening interviews by video, phone, SMS, or WhatsApp, with interviews in 26+ languages and 24-hour availability. Verification can check a government ID and live selfie, flag possible fraud, and identify signs of cheating. A coordinator books qualified candidates on the team calendar and manages briefings, confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling. Alex says it supports 33+ ATS integrations, including Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse, Lever, SmartRecruiters, and SAP SuccessFactors. It states that interviews create records of questions, responses, and evaluated criteria, and that final hiring decisions remain with the team.
Job-Eval
Job-Eval evaluates how closely a resume matches a job description. Its ModernBERT scorer returns separate 1-to-5 scores for requirement coverage, seniority fit, domain alignment and ATS-style keyword overlap. It also surfaces paragraph-level evidence derived from the scorer’s attention maps. The website accepts PDF or text resumes and job descriptions or links, with no installation required. Accounts can save and compare evaluations over time. A self-hosted version batch-scores a CSV of jobs and writes a scored CSV plus an explanation file. The maker says self-hosted runs keep data on the user’s machine. The code is MIT-licensed and the model weights are open. The free plan costs nothing, billed free forever, and includes a 156M-parameter model, CPU or GPU runs, website evaluation and self-hosted batch scoring. The website is positioned for recruiters and non-technical users; self-hosting is for engineers and job hunters. API access is not available.
