In their own words
Alpha Anywhere
Alpha Anywhere is a rapid application development platform for building and deploying business applications for mobile, desktop and web. Apps can retain downloaded data, accept edits while disconnected and synchronize changes when connectivity returns; the platform also manages conflicts when users edit the same record. It supports SQL and NoSQL databases and web services, including connections to Salesforce, and can combine multiple data sources in one app. Developers can create REST APIs for workflows, processes and SQL databases. A report writer generates PDF, HTML and Excel output, while interface controls include maps, charts, signatures, image annotation, audio and video. Hosting choices include self-hosting, third-party providers and Alpha Cloud. Security controls cover users, groups, page access and field-level access, with SSL and HMAC support. The free Community Edition includes web and mobile development, any data source connection and unlimited apps. Paid plans start at $99.00 per month. Developer and Server installations require Windows 11 or Windows Server 2022 or newer, at least 2 GB RAM and 50 GB disk space.
StackBlitz
StackBlitz is a browser-based full-stack web IDE for the JavaScript ecosystem. Its WebContainers run Node.js development environments inside a browser tab, and the service lists millisecond startup and offline work. StackBlitz presents rapid prototyping and coding interviews as use cases. Integrations include a Figma plugin, Storybook addon, and userscript for opening GitHub projects in Codeflow. Viewing and editing projects needs no account, but saving or collaborating requires GitHub. WebContainers depend on SharedArrayBuffer and cross-origin isolation. Enterprise options connect GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Bitbucket, private npm registries, JFrog Artifactory, and Sonatype Nexus. Enterprise code runs in an isolated browser sandbox with SAML2 single sign-on, an admin portal, and self-hosting on bare metal or in a VPC through Kubernetes. Plans include free access and a 14-day trial; listed plan prices are not provided.
