Overview

Altosight tracks competitor and reseller prices across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Google Shopping, direct retailer sites, and websites in multiple countries and currencies. Price-change alerts and multiple-daily data refresh are supported, while URL checks run once daily by default; higher-frequency options are available. That combination fits routine assortment surveillance, but teams needing intraday coverage should confirm the extra-frequency option and its cost.

AI product matching is paired with human verification, with a claimed 99.9% accuracy. Catalogs can be loaded by CSV, Excel, or XML feed URL. These tools reduce the work of reconciling products across sellers, although the accuracy figure is a maker claim rather than a guarantee for every catalog.

Key features

Monitoring and repricing

Repricer Pro offers built-in strategies and custom rules, bounded by minimum and maximum prices. Those guardrails help retailers automate without allowing prices to fall below an approved floor or rise above a ceiling. WooCommerce has native auto-repricing. Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, and custom carts can use the REST API or CSV/Excel exports; Shopify-native synchronization is described as in development, so Shopify users may need an interim workflow.

Brand policy evidence

For brands, MAP violations are recorded with dates, times, sellers, and per-SKU violation history. That turns a price feed into an evidence trail for reseller follow-up. MAP enforcement costs extra on the Marketplace and Starter brands plans, so the entry price for policy enforcement is higher than the headline subscription.

API, support, and security

REST API access is included on every plan at no extra charge, with endpoints for products, retailers, violations, history, and repricing rules. Round-the-clock email support, including weekends, is provided on all plans; priority email, phone support, and dedicated success management appear only at higher tiers. Enterprise customers can request a security review and DPA. The reseller-monitoring service is described as GDPR-compliant.

Pricing

Altosight is subscription software with a 14-day trial and no free plan. The trial provides full access for up to 50 products, three websites, and one marketplace without requiring a credit card. Products are unlimited on the listed plans; URL allowances are the practical constraint.

Marketplace (online retailers): 49.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for 500 monitored URLs, one marketplace, unlimited products, and 30-day history. It is the lowest-cost route for a marketplace-focused retailer.
Marketplace (brands): 49.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for 50 URLs, one marketplace, unlimited products, and 30-day history. MAP enforcement costs extra, making this suitable for a small reseller set rather than broad policy coverage.
Starter (online retailers): 59.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with 300 URLs, unlimited competitor websites, and 30-day history. It sacrifices 200 URLs versus Marketplace while adding website monitoring beyond one marketplace.
Growth (online retailers): 89.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for 1,000 URLs and 90-day history. Choose it when trend context and a larger monitored assortment matter more than the entry price.
Starter (brands): 99.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for 100 URLs, unlimited reseller websites, and 90-day history; MAP enforcement costs extra. It is the brand-oriented starting point for longer records.
Business (online retailers): 159.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with 3,000 URLs, 365-day history, WooCommerce auto-repricing, and priority email support.
Business (brands): 179.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with 300 URLs, unlimited reseller websites, 365-day history, and priority email support.
Pro (online retailers): 239.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for 6,000 URLs, 365-day history, and phone support.
Scale (online retailers): 339.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for 12,000 URLs, 365-day history, and a dedicated success manager.
Enterprise (online retailers): custom pricing, with unlimited URLs, marketplaces, and users, plus custom integrations and an SLA.

Platforms

Altosight runs through its web interface and API. WooCommerce receives native auto-repricing; other listed commerce systems can connect through the REST API and file exports. The service monitors marketplaces and retailer websites across countries and currencies.

Who it's for

Online and omnichannel retailers should consider it when repricing guardrails, marketplace breadth, or year-long history justify a paid platform. Brands and manufacturers benefit from seller-level MAP/RRP evidence, while distributors and wholesalers can use reseller monitoring. It is less suitable for a small catalog that only needs occasional checks, since there is no free plan and every plan is constrained by URL quotas.

Pros and cons

Pros: Coverage spans major marketplaces and international sites; unlimited products on paid plans; free REST API access on every tier; detailed MAP violation records; long 365-day history on Business and above; 24/7 email support.
Cons: No permanent free tier; MAP enforcement is an add-on for the two lower brand plans; daily URL checks are the default; Shopify-native sync is still in development; brand Marketplace includes only 50 URLs.

Alternatives

For a wider directory of choices, see Competitor Price Monitoring Software.

ShopSavvy is the better fit for shoppers or teams wanting a free plan with mobile, browser, and desktop access, price history, and drop alerts.
Pricefy suits a smaller operation that can work within a free allowance of 50 SKUs, five competitors, and one daily update.
Agenty is an alternative when scheduled web data collection and agent quotas matter more than Altosight’s repricing and MAP functions.
CompeteTracker is appropriate for basic competitor tracking, including a free three-competitor plan.
Competitors offers a free entry plan and a 49.00 USD monthly tier for 500 SKUs and three competitors.
Price2Spy is another paid monitoring option with mobile apps and API access.
Priceva is worth considering for a free allowance of up to 20 products and 6,200 checks per month.
SimplePriceMonitor targets very small monitoring needs with five products, three competitors per product, and seven-day history on its free plan.

Verdict

Choose Altosight if you need one system for broad competitor or reseller monitoring, controlled repricing, and defensible MAP records. Its unlimited-product model and 365-day history at Business tiers reward established catalogs. Look elsewhere if you need a permanent free plan, very small-scale monitoring, or native Shopify synchronization today.
