IntegrationsOfficial integrations include AWS IoT Core, Kinesis, MSK, Telegraf, QuickSight, Grafana, JDBC business-intelligence tools and SageMaker. The platform can fetch data from SQL and NoSQL databases, document stores, other time series databases, and monitoring platforms.
PurposeAmazon Timestream offers managed time-series database engines for workloads ranging from low-latency queries to large-scale data ingestion.Warp 10 is a modular open source platform for collecting, storing, and analyzing sensor data.
SecurityAWS says Timestream data is encrypted by default, and supports customer-managed AWS KMS keys for specified InfluxDB deployments.Warp 10 uses cryptographic tokens to control access, and its ingress API requires a valid write token in the X-Warp10-Token header.

In their own words

Amazon Timestream

Amazon Timestream is a managed cloud service offering time-series database engines for low-latency queries and large-scale ingestion. Timestream for LiveAnalytics scales ingestion, storage and query capacity independently and can process millions of queries. Memory and magnetic tiers support retention rules that move data and delete older records. Timestream for InfluxDB 3 Enterprise supports clusters of up to 15 nodes assigned to ingestion, query or compaction work. Backups can run hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or on a custom cron schedule, with retention from one to 365 days; on-demand backups can remain for up to 3,650 days. AWS states that data is encrypted by default and documents IAM, KMS and AWS Backup integrations. Ingestion options include SDKs, CLI, WriteRecords API, Lambda, IoT Core, Kinesis, MSK, Managed Service for Apache Flink and Telegraf. SQL, Flux and InfluxQL are supported query languages.

Warp 10

Warp 10 is a free, open-source platform for collecting, storing, and analyzing time series and Geo Time Series data, including sensor data. It runs as a server that accepts HTTP requests for ingestion and WarpScript execution, and supports API, Linux, macOS, web, Windows, and self-hosted deployments. The platform is available in Standalone, Standalone+, and Distributed versions whose main difference is storage-engine implementation. Standalone uses LevelDB and is described as suitable for a few tens of millions of time series and a few hundreds of billions of datapoints; larger needs are directed to Distributed, which uses FoundationDB. Warp 10 includes more than 1,300 time-series functions. Installation can use binaries on your infrastructure or a Docker image containing Warp 10, WarpStudio, and Sensision. Integrations include Jupyter, Zeppelin, Spark, Flink, MQTT, BACNet, NodeRed, NiFi, SQL and NoSQL sources, Grafana, and PowerBI. Ingestion supports HTTP POST, WebSocket, UDP, MQTT, and Kafka. Cryptographic READ and WRITE tokens control access, and metadata encryption is enabled by default.
