In their own words
Ambo
Ambo is an employee advocacy and content distribution platform for organizations sharing approved content through employees’ LinkedIn profiles. Marketing teams can generate AI drafts from links or raw text, set tone and length, and create variations. They can curate and approve material, organize it into channels, and control whether advocates can edit suggested copy. Employees can customize posts, publish to LinkedIn in one click, or schedule sharing. Analytics cover reach, clicks, engagement, post performance, advocate activity, and exportable reports. Listed integrations include LinkedIn, HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zapier, WordPress, and Webflow. Ambo says it does not store LinkedIn credentials and encrypts authentication tokens; it also states that it is GDPR compliant and supports activity logging. The platform targets mid-market and enterprise B2B companies with marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams. There is no free plan. Pilot costs $20 a month per active advocate, and Growth costs $499 a month. A seven-day trial is listed, and subscriptions default to annual billing.
Yell Advocacy
Yell Advocacy gives employees a workspace of approved brand content to personalize and share, while program owners can track participation and program activity. Owners can add company news, thought leadership, culture, recruiting material, events, and customer stories. Employees select a network, edit an approved caption, then share through that network’s own app; Advocacy does not post from personal profiles. Editable share kits and network-specific options support preparation for sharing. Pixel searches the approved library and recommends available content without creating unapproved campaigns. Reporting tracks confirmed shares, active advocates, content readiness, points, and activity; a leaderboard ranks advocates by confirmed activity and points and includes every team member. The product lists seven networks, with LinkedIn, X, and Facebook as examples. Live authorization and automatic publishing are not enabled, and third-party app sync is not connected in this release. It is an installable web app, not a native app-store download, and runs on Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. The 14-day preview needs no card, but checkout is unavailable. Listed monthly package previews start at $21 a month; no free plan is offered.
