Overview

Amply brings checklists, procedures, audits, approvals and communications into one platform. Scheduled tasks, recurring SOPs, deadlines and real-time completion tracking help managers see whether routine work is progressing across locations. Proof of completion and approval workflows add accountability when a task needs evidence or sign-off.

Area managers can run digital audits and generate scored visual reports to pinpoint gaps. Image AI is intended to flag non-compliant displays and score merchandising setups, which makes Amply more relevant to chains that need consistent presentation as well as completed tasks. Role-based views and region-level permissions help distinguish access by responsibility; the searchable Document Wallet adds a place for controlled documents.

Key features

Tasks and SOPs: Scheduled checklists, recurring procedures, deadlines and live tracking support repeatable work across stores. Starter’s no-code SOP builder is useful for teams that want to formalize routines without buying into a paid tier immediately.
Audits and merchandising: Digital audits and scored reports give area managers a way to identify operational gaps. Image AI’s display detection and scoring target visual standards, so this feature is most compelling for brands where merchandising compliance matters.
Communication and workflows: Frontline messaging, approvals and workflows connect store staff with managers. The Growth plan adds broadcast and ticketing, while Enterprise includes custom workflows.
Documents and access: The document repository is searchable and supports role-based access. Region-level permissions and role-based views help align visibility with organizational structure.
Connectivity and support: Amply’s integrations include Jira, Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Zapier and Power BI. It offers email and call support, dedicated onboarding, rollout templates and training for administrators and store staff.

Pricing

Amply uses a freemium model. Starter is free and covers up to 2 stores, with a communication feed, task scheduler, no-code SOP builder and mobile app with offline mode. That is a meaningful way to coordinate a small operation, but the two-store cap rules it out as a lasting free tier for a larger chain.

Growth costs 39.00 USD per month, billed $ 39 / STORE / MONTH. It adds broadcast, a store license wallet, document library, ticketing system and email notifications. Because the charge is per store, the monthly bill scales with the footprint; this plan suits operators who need those tools and can justify the recurring cost at each location.

Enterprise has custom pricing and includes custom workflows, security, integrations, a dedicated account manager and training sessions. It is the option for organizations needing tailored operations and more direct account support, though the custom price means the budget needs to be established with Amply.

Platforms

Amply runs on Android, iOS and the web. Starter’s mobile app includes offline mode, a practical provision for store work where connectivity is intermittent.

Who it's for

Amply is best suited to retail chains, restaurants and hospitality groups managing repeated tasks, store standards and communication across locations. Smaller operators can start with the free two-store plan; multi-location teams that need broadcast, ticketing or a document library should assess Growth’s per-store economics. Organizations needing custom workflows and dedicated account management are better aligned with Enterprise. A single store seeking only a narrow merchandising or barcode tool may find the wider operations platform unnecessary.

Pros and cons

Pros: The free plan includes offline mobile use and a no-code SOP builder, making a limited rollout useful rather than merely a trial. Audits, proof of completion and approvals extend oversight beyond task assignment. A broad integration roster and role- and region-based access support more structured operations.
Cons: Starter stops at two stores, so even modest expansion can require a paid plan. Growth’s $ 39 / STORE / MONTH billing scales directly with location count. Enterprise pricing is custom, which leaves larger buyers without a fixed plan price.

Alternatives

For a wider comparison, see Retail Store Operations Software.

ZebraDesigner is the better fit when the need is basic barcode label and tag design and printing for supported Zebra printers; its Essentials 3 plan is free.
Rytual may suit a very small team that wants a seven-day trial with one user and one store, or a low-cost modular option at 99.00 INR per month.
VisitBasis is worth considering for product-based forms and planogram support for specific stores; its listed merchandising premium package costs 150.00 RUB per month.
NextTask offers a 30-day free trial for up to three users with core features, making it an alternative for a short evaluation before a paid commitment.
Array may fit teams prioritizing forms and submissions, with its Essential plan at 30.00 USD per month billed annually for up to four users and specified submission and storage limits.
Movista is another paid option for multi-platform operations.
Opscale may suit teams that specifically need tasks, checklists, operational templates and shift scheduling; its Starter plan is 99.00 USD per month, billed $990 billed yearly.
Pazo is an alternative with Silver and Gold tiers at custom pricing; Gold adds workflow, usertags and stock management to Silver features.

Verdict

Choose Amply if your retail, restaurant or hospitality group needs one system for store tasks, audits, communication and standards, especially if a two-store free rollout is enough to begin. Its strongest case is the combination of operational tracking, audit reporting and merchandising oversight. Look elsewhere if the two-store ceiling is too restrictive or a per-store Growth charge would outweigh the value of its additional tools.
