NotaDist

NotaDist is a web-based music distribution service for independent artists and record labels. It sends music to digital platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, YouTube Music, and Deezer. Artists can use analytics to review audience demographics, engagement, performance, and trends. Promotion options include playlist pitching, social media promotion, and targeted advertising, which incur additional charges. NotaDist says artists retain their rights under a non-exclusive distribution agreement. Its use of YouTube Content ID and Facebook Rights Manager can identify videos using distributed music and generate revenue where possible. The free plan costs nothing and includes one artist, unlimited tracks, all stores, YouTube Content ID, and 80% royalties. PRO costs $29.99 a year for up to three artists, unlimited tracks, all stores, YouTube Content ID, and 92% royalties. Record Label lists unlimited artists and tracks, with billing handled by contacting NotaDist. Payouts are monthly. Artists must own rights to distributed music or have permission from copyright holders. NotaDist says payment information is encrypted using SSL, while noting it cannot guarantee the security of transmitted or stored information.
