In their own words
Anchore Enterprise
Anchore Enterprise is an SBOM-powered platform for continuous software supply-chain security and compliance. It generates software bills of materials for containers, source code, and filesystems in Syft, CycloneDX, and SPDX formats, then continuously scans those SBOMs for vulnerabilities, secrets, and malware. Policy packs cover NIST, FedRAMP, and DISA, while policy-as-code rules use JSON instructions that can be version controlled in Git. Runtime inventory can cover images running across EKS, ECS, AKE, GKE, and OpenShift clusters. Deployment options include an AWS machine image or container images installed with Helm on Kubernetes-compatible platforms, including air-gapped environments. Every feature and operation can be instrumented through an API. Integrations include major CI, registry, and cloud services such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Amazon ECR, Azure DevOps, Docker Hub, and Harbor. It supports API, Linux, self-hosted, and web environments. Pricing is on request; there is no free plan, but a free trial is available.
Retire.js
Retire.js detects JavaScript library versions with known vulnerabilities, including libraries stored directly in source control. Its command-line scanner checks web apps and Node.js projects for vulnerable libraries and Node.js modules, and requires Node.js and npm to install and run. By default, the CLI exits with code 13 when it finds vulnerabilities; its behavior can be changed with `--exitwith 0`. Chrome and Firefox extensions scan visited sites and report insecure libraries in the developer console and browser toolbar. The Chrome extension is not officially available in the Chrome Web Store, and the Firefox extension is deprecated. Retire.js also has a Burp extension and an OWASP ZAP add-on, while retire-site-scanner supports headless website scanning. It can generate CycloneDX SBOM output, including JSON formats and versions with a vulnerabilities section. The Grunt plugin and Gulp task are also marked deprecated. Retire.js is free and is distributed under Apache License 2.0.
