Overview

BusyBusy is a workforce time-tracking and operations app for teams working in the field. It suits employers who need mobile attendance tools and a path from basic timekeeping to supervisor and project workflows. Its strongest appeal is the free starting point; the higher tiers add useful controls but require custom pricing.

Founded in 2010 and based in Englewood, Colorado, BusyBusy combines time and attendance capabilities with scheduling and project coordination. That breadth is useful for teams managing work across locations, though buyers should weigh the paid tiers against how much oversight and project tooling they actually need.

Key features

Time and attendance

Geofencing, kiosk mode, break tracking, overtime tracking, and payroll integrations address practical needs around recording and processing work time. These features make BusyBusy more than a basic clock-in tool, particularly for employers coordinating field staff. Teams should confirm that the payroll integrations suit their existing systems before relying on them.

Supervisor and project workflows

Pro adds GPS breadcrumbing, supervisor tools, daily sign-offs, photos and notes, and scheduling. The combination gives managers more context and a way to capture and approve daily work, which can matter when crews operate away from a central office. Premium builds on that with documents, daily project reports, progress tracking, checklists, and team messaging. Those additions favor teams that want operational coordination alongside timekeeping; employers who only need attendance tracking may not need the broader tier.

BusyBusy offers a mobile app as well as web access, giving distributed teams options for recording and managing work. Its platforms are web, iOS, and Android.

Pricing

BusyBusy uses a freemium model. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and allows unlimited users, making it a practical place to begin for teams that need the included operational tools without per-user charges. The trade-off is that the listed plan details do not name its feature set, so buyers should verify it covers their particular workflow before treating it as a complete long-term solution.

Pro and Premium have custom pricing. Pro is the step up for GPS breadcrumbing, supervisor tools, daily sign-offs, photos and notes, and scheduling. Premium includes everything in Pro plus documents, daily project reports, progress tracking, checklists, and team messaging. Premium is the more suitable choice when those project and communication tools matter; for basic attendance or smaller operational needs, paying for those additions may be unnecessary. A 14-day trial is also offered, but no further trial terms are stated.

Platforms

BusyBusy runs on the web, iOS, and Android. That range supports office-based oversight as well as mobile use by field teams.

Who it's for

BusyBusy is a good fit for employers with field-based staff who want timekeeping alongside location, shift, and supervisory workflows. The free plan's unlimited users make it especially appealing to teams that want to start without seat-based charges. Teams that need project reports, checklists, or messaging have a clearer case for Premium; organizations with simpler clock-in requirements should compare the value of those additions against their needs.

Pros and cons

Pro: The Free plan has unlimited users, avoiding a per-seat limit at the entry level.
Pro: Geofencing, kiosk mode, break and overtime tracking, and payroll integrations cover several core attendance and timekeeping needs.
Pro: Pro and Premium add distinct supervisor and project workflows, so teams can choose whether they need scheduling and sign-offs or broader project coordination.
Con: Pro and Premium use custom pricing, making it harder to compare their cost with a narrower time-tracking option.
Con: The Free plan's included capabilities are not defined in the plan details, leaving buyers to confirm whether it meets their requirements.
