In their own words

Android Emulator

Android Emulator simulates Android devices on a computer so developers can test applications across device types and Android API levels without a physical device. It comes with Android Studio and needs no separate installation. Predefined virtual-device profiles cover phones, tablets, Wear OS, Android Automotive OS, and Android TV. An Android Virtual Device sets the Android version and hardware characteristics, and has private storage for user data, SD card data, and cache. The emulator can simulate calls, text messages, locations, network speeds, rotation, hardware sensors, and Google Play Store access. It supports multiple instances, keyboard mapping, gamepads, and root access. The first launch may take about a minute; later launches can use a snapshot and start faster. Supported systems include 64-bit Windows 10 or newer, macOS 12 or newer, Linux, and ChromeOS. The recommended baseline is 16 GB RAM and 16 GB disk space, with higher requirements possible for newer API levels or larger virtual devices. Android Studio on ChromeOS deploys apps only to connected hardware devices.

MuMu Player

MuMu Player is an emulator for running Android games and apps on a PC or Mac, as well as playing mobile and other platform games on computers or devices. Its homepage says it can support Android 15 and Android 12 instances simultaneously. It supports Google Play, multiple instances, keyboard mapping, gamepads, keyboard and mouse controls, mainstream joysticks, and Mac touchpad gestures. Apps can be installed through its in-emulator game center or browser, or by manually installing APK, APKS, and XAPK files. The homepage advertises up to 480 FPS, 4K visuals, and full GPU acceleration, and claims a three-second launch, 30% faster game loading, and 25% higher average FPS. Version 1.5.4 and later add command-line Android device management, ADB connection, and controls for network connections and airplane mode. Downloads list Windows 8 or later, macOS on Apple Silicon, and Windows ARM, marked beta. Mac users who have not previously used MuMuPlayer for Mac can try it free for seven days; continued use requires membership payment.
