In their own words
Android Switch
Android Switch copies apps and data from an Android or iOS phone or tablet to an Android device. The classic method uses a cable or the Android Switch app; the upgraded method supports cable or wireless transfer. For wireless pairing with an iPhone, scan the QR code displayed on the new Android phone using the old iPhone’s camera.
Transfers can include contacts, calendars, photos, and videos. The upgraded method also supports items such as call history, passwords, Wi-Fi networks, eSIMs, app data, files and folders, and passkeys. WhatsApp history moves during setup with the classic cable method, but transfers separately after setup with the upgraded method. That upgraded method is available on select devices running Android 17, with broader availability planned. On Pixel 9 and newer devices, data can move after setup even without the other device. Only free apps available on Google Play can transfer; paid apps or subscriptions may require contacting their developers. eSIM availability depends on the phone brand and carrier. The app is free, has no trial, and Google Play says it is already installed on Android devices.
DearMob iPhone Manager
DearMob iPhone Manager is desktop software for transferring, backing up, restoring and managing iOS and iPadOS content. It runs on Windows and macOS, transfers more than 15 file types over Wi-Fi or USB, and does not require iTunes. Backup options include full, incremental and selective backup and restore, with copies saved to a PC, Mac or external hard drive. Media tools handle photos, music and videos, including HEIC conversion, music format conversion, video rotation and ringtone creation. The software also manages contacts, messages, apps and app data, books, podcasts, calendars, voice memos, bookmarks and files. For moving to a new iPhone or iPad, it describes one-to-one content cloning. Users can password-protect backup files, photos, videos and contacts, and encrypt backups and media files. Digiarty says it does not collect transferred files or file-encryption passwords, though troubleshooting may involve sending a log file. The trial has daily limits for transfers and backup tasks. Premium 365 costs $29.95 a year; Lifetime License is $39.95 as a one-time purchase fee; Family License is $59.95 as a one-time purchase fee.
