In their own words
Android Switch
Android Switch copies apps and data from an Android or iOS phone or tablet to an Android device. The classic method uses a cable or the Android Switch app; the upgraded method supports cable or wireless transfer. For wireless pairing with an iPhone, scan the QR code displayed on the new Android phone using the old iPhone’s camera.
Transfers can include contacts, calendars, photos, and videos. The upgraded method also supports items such as call history, passwords, Wi-Fi networks, eSIMs, app data, files and folders, and passkeys. WhatsApp history moves during setup with the classic cable method, but transfers separately after setup with the upgraded method. That upgraded method is available on select devices running Android 17, with broader availability planned. On Pixel 9 and newer devices, data can move after setup even without the other device. Only free apps available on Google Play can transfer; paid apps or subscriptions may require contacting their developers. eSIM availability depends on the phone brand and carrier. The app is free, has no trial, and Google Play says it is already installed on Android devices.
HONOR Device Clone
HONOR Device Clone moves data from an old phone or computer to a new HONOR device. Phone transfers connect by scanning a QR code, without cables, mobile data, or sign-up. HONOR reports speeds up to 8 GB per minute in optimal lab conditions, with variation by device, and says the connection and transferred files are encrypted. Supported phone sources include HONOR, HarmonyOS, other Android brands, and Apple devices running Android 7.0 or iOS 8.0 and later. PC migration can move pictures, videos, documents, some Windows settings, and Edge, Chrome, or Firefox bookmarks and browsing history. HONOR reports wireless PC speeds up to 90 MB/s in its lab, while environment and model affect actual speed. Windows system files, hidden files, shortcuts, and application-directory files are excluded. Failed or interrupted PC transfers can resume. PC migration uses HONOR PC Manager on the new PC and Device Clone on the old one.
