In their own words

Angry IP Scanner

Angry IP Scanner is a free, open-source desktop tool for scanning IP addresses and ports. It accepts address ranges, random addresses, or files in any format as scan input. The scanner checks whether hosts respond to pings and can optionally resolve hostnames, identify MAC addresses, and scan ports. It also supports NetBIOS information, favorite IP ranges, web server detection, and customizable openers. Java plugins can extend scanning and data gathering with fetchers, pingers, exporters, and feeders. Results can be saved as CSV, TXT, XML, or IP-Port list files, and a command-line interface is available. It runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows under GPLv2. The maker says installation is unnecessary and that the software can be copied and used anywhere. It is described as particularly useful to network administrators monitoring and managing networks. The FAQ notes that some antivirus vendors have flagged the older ipscan.exe, while saying version 3.x is not detected.

eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y

eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y is a free MIT-licensed package that uses ESLint to statically inspect JSX for accessibility issues in React applications. Its rules cover alternative text, ARIA properties, values, roles and requirements, labels, keyboard access, and captions for audio and video. It can flag clickable non-interactive elements without keyboard listeners and interactive handlers on elements that are not focusable. Recommended and strict configurations are documented for legacy .eslintrc files and flat eslint.config.js files. Configuration can map custom component names to DOM element types and DOM attributes to JSX properties, allowing those abstractions to be checked. An optional polymorphicPropName setting is supported, although the project warns that polymorphic components can be harder to maintain. Installation instructions cover npm and Yarn and require ESLint. The plugin analyzes static code rather than rendered DOM. Its maintainers recommend pairing it with @axe-core/react and assistive-technology testing. It has no manual review tools, mobile testing, browser extension, or remediation guidance. The repository links to Tidelift for professional support.
