Animaker vs HeyGen

Animaker is web-based software for creating animated and live-action videos, with mobile apps for making animated videos on iOS and Android. Its text-to-video generator turns a prompt into a video that can then be reviewed and edited. Creative tools include whiteboard animation, AI infographics and asset generation, subtitles, translation, and a custom character builder. The feature page describes AI voiceovers with 1000+ voices in 100+ languages and automatic lip sync. Animaker also lists 1000+ templates, real-time collaboration, and a Brand Kit. Completed animations can be downloaded as MP4, GIF, or WebM, at resolutions from SD through 4K. An Ultra Gen API offers RESTful, JSON-based endpoints for adding video generation to web and mobile apps. The free plan allows downloads, but adds a watermark and limits premium assets. Pricing notes list a free plan, a 7-day trial, and paid access from $15/mo (annual); Starter is listed at $45 a month and Pro at $79 a month, both billed monthly.

HeyGen creates videos from text, images, audio, and presentations or PDFs, and provides AI avatars. The Free plan costs $0.00 per free and allows three videos a month, each up to one minute. Creator costs $29 a month and includes 600 credits, videos up to 30 minutes, and 1080p export; Pro costs $49 a month and includes 1,000 credits, videos up to 30 minutes, and 4K export. HeyGen is available on Android, iOS, web, and API. Team tools include comments, tagging, shared editing, workspace collaboration, and task management. Business plans connect with tools including n8n, Make, HubSpot, Zapier, and LMS platforms. Paid plans include live chat support; Enterprise adds priority support and customer success management.
