AnimationMaker
AnimationMaker is a free Linux application for creating animated presentation videos, including YouTube or Vimeo presentations and crowdfunding pitch videos. It supports motion graphics, custom asset uploads, and video export. Projects can be exported as movies, animated GIFs, XML files, or HTML animations. Movie output uses formats supported by FFmpeg, including MPG, MP4, and AVI. HTML output uses SVG and GSAP, and the exported SVG can be embedded in an HTML page. The maker offers the latest Linux release at no cost. The repository lists DEB and RPM installers; release 1.9.2 includes packages for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and Fedora 34. Build instructions use Qt and provide command-line steps for Debian or Ubuntu. The idea came from Adobe Edge, which is no longer available. Feature requests can be emailed to [email protected].
