Rockwell Automation Finite Scheduler
Rockwell Automation Finite Scheduler is a containerized API application for finite-capacity manufacturing scheduling. It uses process data to improve scheduling accuracy, throughput and on-time delivery, and is ERP and MES agnostic. Scheduling can consider workforce availability and equipment downtime in addition to factors commonly handled by MRP systems. Resource constraints include equipment, tooling, storage devices, labor pools and skilled or certified employees. Process models can represent setup, cycle, teardown or clean-down steps, capacity and buffer types, and wait-time constraints. The application rapidly generates or regenerates optimized schedules for changing business objectives. An interactive graphical interface lets users review schedules and participate in optimization. Rockwell presents it to manufacturers modernizing production scheduling, with goals including greater agility, lower work-in-process inventory, improved on-time delivery and shorter setup times.
