In their own words
Anthology Student Verification
Anthology Student Verification automates higher-education financial-aid verification through a Student Portal for reviewing and submitting requested information and documents. A rules engine evaluates student ISIR and demographic information to determine document requirements. Students can complete a Verification Worksheet electronically or upload a completed document; their answers may lead to additional requests. The portal supports multiple award years and shows documents for the selected year.
Students can fill out and edit documents on mobile or desktop devices, including uploading images taken with a phone. It accepts PDF, JPG and TIFF files and combines sequential page images into a PDF. Sign-in is through Single Sign-On or a username or email address and password. Institutions can configure templates with their color scheme and logo, choose tile or list layouts, and associate templates with campuses. The product overview describes email and text communications and a real-time status bar. Staff can review verification issues and submit corrections. After corrections are submitted, the student record remains locked until an administrator extracts and submits them and a subsequent ISIR is imported. Pricing is on request.
EDExpress
EDExpress is a Windows PC application provided at no charge to institutions processing Title IV student financial aid records. It handles Institutional Student Information Record data and supports packaging and management of aid records. For Common Origination and Disbursement workflows, it builds the required XML Common Record file, allows users to create or modify submitted records, imports responses, and provides reports. An automated comparison tool helps reconcile Federal Pell Grant School Account Statements against school data and identify discrepancies. The 2027–28 release includes Global, Application Processing, Packaging, and College Financing Plan functionality. In Release 1.0, Packaging and College Financing Plan are optional; Global and Application Processing install automatically. The software requires Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or newer, does not support other database systems, and does not install SQL Server. Office workstations can connect to a shared database in an organization's SQL Server environment. The Department offers the software as a single-file full download, with installation guidance in its Windows Installation Guide.
