In their own words

APISec Platform

APISec Platform is an application security tool for validating exploits against APIs and applications. It discovers applications, builds a dynamic model of their behavior, and runs attacker-like tests at runtime. The model can capture endpoints, parameters, authentication flows, roles, permissions, object ownership, and business logic without documentation or developer interviews. Tests cover business logic, data access, permissions, configuration, infrastructure, and controls such as injection and token handling. For validated exploits, the platform returns the request sequence, data reached, blast radius, replay, and a suggested resolution. APISec says it can find APIs across infrastructure, source, gateways, ingress and authentication paths, web apps, development tools, and CI/CD, as well as agents, MCP servers, and LLM call sites. Public APIs run against its cloud; private and on-premises APIs can use a Kubernetes or Docker container, while cloud deployments can run in a customer’s GCP, Azure, or AWS environment. The free plan covers public API testing and basic simulations. Standard costs $690 a month per 100 endpoints; Pro costs $2,750 a month per 100 endpoints.

Parasoft SOAtest

Parasoft SOAtest automates functional, security and performance testing for APIs and microservices. It can create data-driven, multi-step API tests from recorded traffic or natural-language input without code, and supports more than 120 message formats and protocols, including MCP-based systems. Teams can reuse functional cases for penetration testing or convert them into scriptless, protocol-based performance tests that scale across machines and connect to CI/CD pipelines. Change Advisor identifies API changes and supports bulk refactoring of affected cases; Test Impact Analysis links tests to code changes so teams can run a smaller set. Named integrations include Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo and TeamCity, with an extension framework for other workflows. The product runs on Windows, Linux and macOS, with desktop, automation-server and web-server deployment options. Appium supports mobile testing on iOS and Android. Reports are available in HTML, PDF, XML and customizable formats, with centralized reporting and analytics available through Parasoft DTP. Pricing is on request. The product page offers a 14-day trial guided by a Parasoft Solution Engineer.
