ApowerMirror vs Extron ShareLink Pro

ApowerMirror mirrors iOS and Android phone screens to a PC over USB or Wi-Fi and can cast a phone to a TV. It runs on Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. Up to four devices can appear on one PC simultaneously. Android users can control a phone with a computer mouse and keyboard or use virtual keys for mobile games. Mirrored phones support screen recording and screenshots, with additional functions including full-screen display, PC-to-phone casting, device-to-device mirroring, and a presentation whiteboard. The maker lists Android TV, smart TV boxes, and VR and AR devices as compatible targets. Free use allows one device at a time, 720P iOS resolution, and 10 minutes per mirroring session. Personal plans are Personal Monthly at $19.95 a month, Personal Annual at $39.95 a year, and Personal Lifetime at $69.95, paid once. Business plans are also listed.

Extron ShareLink Pro is an app for sharing images, video, and device screens wirelessly to a room display through an Extron ShareLink Pro presentation system. The system can show up to four pieces of content at once. Collaboration mode allows any user to share, while Moderator mode gives a designated moderator control over who presents. The app supports Apple and Android smartphones and tablets; the system also works with macOS and Windows computers. Android devices connect through the existing Wi-Fi network. Extron says content sent between devices and the system is encrypted, and a Welcome Screen Display ID Code helps direct content to the intended display. Extron GVE can centrally manage setup, configuration, and firmware updates across multiple units. The app is free, but requires an Extron ShareLink Pro presentation system. It is listed for iOS, Android, macOS, web, and Windows. Extron lists 24-hour technical support at its Anaheim worldwide headquarters and says product pricing information is available to Extron Insider customers.
