In their own words
AppClose
AppClose is a co-parenting service for keeping communication, schedules, expenses, payments, check-ins and records together. It is available on Android, iOS and the web, with browser access that syncs communications, calendars, expenses and records. Messages are time-stamped, encrypted, permanent and searchable, and conversations can be exported. With both users' consent, audio and video calls can be recorded, transcribed and securely stored. Parents can use 15 ready-made schedule templates or create schedules and shared calendar events. The ipayou payment feature handles reimbursements, child support and shared expenses. AppClose Solo sends requests, events and expenses to non-users by text or email while keeping a log; professionals can join through AppClose Pro with appropriate consent. Certified electronic business-record exports include a record ID and certification timestamp, but are available only in the United States. A fee-waiver account costs nothing for financial hardship and domestic-violence survivors. Monthly web billing is $7.99 a month; monthly app billing is $8.99 a month. A 60-day trial is listed.
FamilyWall
FamilyWall helps households coordinate schedules, lists, tasks, meals, budgets, and communication through a shared family service. Its shared calendar brings schedules together, while shopping lists and to-do lists let members organize errands and responsibilities; shopping lists work offline. The Free plan also includes a messenger and contact book. Premium adds a budget tracker, meal planner, timetable, Google and Outlook calendar sync, family locator, place alerts, and 25 GB of storage. Family members can send private text, voice, photo, and video messages, and create private groups for family, extended family, friends, or neighbors. FamilyWall is available on the web and through Android and iOS apps. The service has a free plan and a 30-day trial. Premium is listed at $4.99 a month or $44.99 a year. Its location feature shows a family member's last explicitly posted position for personal use and is not intended as an emergency locator; users can withdraw location consent by turning off Locate in device settings. The maker is headquartered in Paris, France, and was founded in 2011.
