OwnOrder
OwnOrder turns a restaurant’s existing website into a branded direct-ordering website and app. It is aimed at independent UK restaurants and takeaways, offering collection and delivery ordering with driver tracking for both. The platform also includes table bookings, a live floor plan, and a kitchen display that supports ticket printing. Restaurants can run promotions and discount codes, offer loyalty points, and use push and email marketing. Payments go through Stripe Express into the restaurant’s own Stripe account; OwnOrder says it does not hold or touch the money. Restaurants can export customer data at any time. The maker builds and submits branded native apps for iOS and Android, which become available in the App Store and Google Play after review. Hosting, SSL, and updates for the restaurant’s own domain are included. The maker says a free preview is usually ready in a minute or two and most restaurants can go live the same day they connect their domain. The plan costs £2 a month, billed per order, plus the standard Stripe card fee; there is no monthly fee or setup fee. A 12-month minimum term applies, followed by month-to-month billing, with an early-termination fee for leaving during the first year.
