In their own words

Applio

Applio is an open-source AI voice conversion suite for making covers, training custom voice models, and changing voices in real time. It can convert recorded audio with ready-made models, plus pitch tuning, cleanup, upscaling, and batch processing. Live conversion is intended for songs, streams, and calls. Model tools include training, a voice blender, text-to-speech, and an audio analyzer for dataset readiness. Applio supports Linux, macOS, Windows, web, and self-hosted use; Google Colab, Pinokio, and Hugging Face are also listed as ways to run it. Its plan is free, with no accounts or paywalls. The MIT license permits personal, research, and commercial use. The maker says audio and models remain on the device unless shared, and core features do not require an account, telemetry, or cloud dependency. Documentation recommends an Nvidia RTX 20-series GPU or newer for local voice training; most modern computers can handle inference with existing models.

Echo Live

Echo Live changes microphone audio in real time through AI voice conversion and digital signal processing. Its desktop app includes AI voices, live effects, a soundboard, and Voice Lab for making custom effects. The soundboard imports WAV, MP3, OGG, and FLAC files; users can reuse boards and assign hotkeys to individual sounds. Changed audio can go through a virtual microphone or cable for use in Discord, games, OBS, Zoom, and Google Meet.

Echo Lite is a Chrome extension that processes effects, AI voices, and soundboard mixing on-device and connects to supported calling websites. Separate Android and iOS apps offer speech-to-speech conversion, text-to-speech, and voice effects. Echo supports DirectML GPU acceleration on Windows and CoreML on Apple Silicon Macs. The maker says voice processing runs locally and audio is not sent to its servers. The free plan is listed at free. During Alpha, all features are free, though the maker reserves the option to add paid tiers or limits later. Echo Pro is listed without a price.
