Appocalypsis
Appocalypsis is a web product for managing website widgets and banners. Campaign formats include pop-ups, banners, modals, slide-ins, footer and top bars, inline widgets, and full- or half-page widgets. Display triggers include mouse exit, page entry, inline placement and a click on an element. Audience targeting and lead-capture forms are listed, along with analytics about widget progress and a set of GDPR tools. The product uses widget-specific cookies to track display behavior. The Appo_XXXX cookie helps determine whether a widget should appear again, with its duration governed by the widget’s “Show every” setting and ranging from immediately to two years. The AppoLC_XXXX cookie records that a widget has completed its lifecycle and expires after two years. The site also lists cookies associated with Google Analytics, Hotjar, Pushcrew and Albacross, and says it collects standard internet log information and visitor behavior patterns in a way that does not personally identify visitors. Members can contact support through the Support Center, where questions receive priority. The contact form accepts questions, problems, feature suggestions and investment enquiries. Its free plan has limited functionality.
OptiMonk
OptiMonk is an AI-driven popup builder for ecommerce businesses, available on the web and through an API. Its AI agent can design, write and publish campaigns from a description, run A/B tests, learn from visitors and offer to roll out a winning version. Campaign formats include popups, embedded content, sticky bars, surveys, gamification and multi-step flows. Targeting can use country, cookies, traffic source, cart contents and browsing behavior. Reporting tracks conversions and campaign-associated revenue, average order value and orders. Listed integrations include Shopify, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Google Analytics, Zapier and webhooks. All plans include MCP connections for building, editing and publishing popups from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, as well as live chat support. The free plan does not expire, requires no credit card and includes 10,000 pageviews per month, 1,000 AI credits per month and one domain. Paid plans start at $19 a month, billed yearly at $228. Pageviews count whenever a site page loads, even if no campaign appears, and campaigns pause at the plan limit. OptiMonk began in Europe in 2014 and is headquartered in Debrecen, Hungary.
