In their own words
Appsmith
Appsmith is an open-source, freemium low-code platform for building custom internal applications on the web or through self-hosting. Teams connect databases, SaaS tools, and REST or GraphQL APIs, assemble interfaces with drag-and-drop widgets, and customize logic with JavaScript. Listed uses include admin panels, back-office apps, CRUD frontends, dashboards, portals, and trackers. Development supports reusable code, custom widgets, JavaScript and HTML/CSS, and imported JavaScript libraries. Git-based version control can deploy merged changes from designated environment branches. Integrations include PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Snowflake, Salesforce, Slack, Google Sheets, REST APIs, and GraphQL. Free costs nothing; Business costs $15 a month per user, and Enterprise costs $2,500 a month for 100 users. New signups receive a 15-day Business trial without a credit card. Self-hosting documentation recommends Docker or Kubernetes; official support is limited to certified configurations.
