In their own words
AppStatus
AppStatus combines uptime monitoring, alerting, incident management, status pages, heartbeat monitoring and host telemetry. Uptime checks cover HTTP, API, Port and Ping from 70 global regions. Notifications support 12 channel types, with condition-based rules, escalation policies, quiet hours and on-call rotation. Monitoring includes SSL certificate tracking and Kubernetes cluster, pod, node and deployment monitoring. Its host agent collects system metrics, process data, logs, security events, container statistics, file-integrity changes, HTTP probe results and active sessions. Agents run on Linux, macOS and Windows hosts, as well as Docker, Kubernetes and cloud virtual machines. Cloud integrations cover services including databases, queues, runtimes and platform services, with every connection read-only by design. AI analyzes incidents and suggests probable root causes using recent changes, alert patterns and incident history. Status pages support custom domains, branding, password protection, email subscribers and maintenance scheduling. The free plan includes five monitors and one status page. Starter costs $6 a month billed annually; REST API access is available on Pro and above.
Flashduty Status Page
Flashduty Status Page publishes branded service status and incident updates for customers, partners, and internal teams. Pages can be public or gated for internal audiences, with audience-specific subscriptions and access. They reflect the incident story maintained in Flashduty, avoiding the need to create a separate customer-facing account. Pages support custom domains, HTTPS, logos, and branded headers and footers. Public pages offer email and RSS subscriptions; internal pages can notify teams through Feishu, DingTalk, WeCom, and Slack. Component-level availability is linked to incident history for auditable uptime records, and teams can schedule maintenance. Public status pages are free to use with publishing, custom domains, and RSS; email beyond the included allowance is billed on demand. The Free plan includes five users and one public page. Standard costs $14/user/mo and includes one public page; Professional costs $29/user/mo and includes five public pages and 20 internal pages. Private Deployment has no listed price. Developers can connect through the Open API and webhooks. The platform is available via API, self-hosted deployment, and web.
