daVinci Retail provides merchandise planning software for enterprise retailers, covering buying, assortment planning, item planning, and merchandise financial planning. Canvas Buying brings buy plans into a shared cloud application backed by a central enterprise database. Assortment Planning supports tailored buys across channels, stores, and customer groups, while Merchandise Financial Planning supports strategic and open-to-buy plans across retail channels, including ecommerce and wholesale. Item Planning helps manage time-phased buys for core items and track sales and inventory against open-to-buy plans. The broader suite includes forecasting, store clustering, and size profiling, as well as allocation management, pricing and markdowns, and product hierarchy capabilities. Retailers can implement selected modules. Its web applications are cloud-based, delivered through AWS, and require no installation; the Buy Management System can also run on a customer server or cloud provider.
