Overview

The core proposition is a shared system for managing members and the activities around them. Custom fields, membership levels, tags, self-registration, a member portal, and QR code cards cover both administration and member access. Groups that mainly need a place to track dues may find the events, classes, bookings, and communications breadth unnecessary; organizations running regular programming can get more from having those functions together.

Key features

Member records, events, and classes

Mybers supports in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, ticket sales, registration, and check-in, alongside recurring classes and appointments. That combination suits associations with events as well as studios and gyms with regular sessions. Automated dunning is also included, which can help with overdue payments.

Payments and email

Payments run through the organization’s own Stripe account, with funds going directly to it. Self-serve plans charge a flat 1% on dues and 2% on class passes, so the advertised monthly price is not the full cost for groups processing meaningful volume. Email broadcasts support audience filtering, merge fields, scheduling, delivery tracking, and CAN-SPAM-compliant unsubscribe links; the monthly quotas make email volume a more relevant plan constraint than member count.

AI, integrations, and data handling

Mynd includes an AI phone agent for inbound calls and renewal outreach, plain-English queries of member data, drafted communications, and setup assistance. These tools may be useful to teams looking to reduce routine work, but Pro’s AI voice and SMS usage is credit-based. The feature page names HubSpot, Mailchimp, Stripe, Slack, Zapier, and QuickBooks, with integrations potentially self-serve, managed, or custom depending on plan.

The privacy policy says Mybers encrypts data in transit, uses scoped access controls, and stores payment identifiers and amounts rather than full card numbers. Organizations control their members’ data, and Mybers says it does not use customer data to train third-party foundation models. Its REST API, scoped API keys, and HMAC-signed webhooks provide options for custom connections; each webhook is delivered once, without automatic retry, which matters for systems that depend on reliable event processing.

Migration and access

Migration from other platforms or CSV includes field mapping, a dry-run preview, and one-click undo within 24 hours. Mybers names WildApricot, MemberClicks, MemberPlanet, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Eventbrite as migration sources. The service installs from a browser on iOS, Android, and desktop without an app store; branded organization apps are included from Club upward.

Pricing

Starter is free forever and includes unlimited members and 500 emails per month. It is a practical way for a small group to begin, but the email allowance may be restrictive for organizations with frequent broadcasts.

Club costs $39/month and raises the allowance to 5,000 emails per month while retaining unlimited members. It includes the listed flat fees of 1% on dues and 2% on class passes. For organizations wanting broader email capacity and branded apps, this is the entry paid plan; those processing substantial payments should weigh the transaction charges against the monthly cost.

Pro costs $79/month, includes unlimited members and 10,000 emails per month, and adds AI voice/SMS usage credits. It also lists the same transaction fees as Club. Priority support with an SLA is included on Pro, while Club includes standard support, making Pro more compelling for teams that need greater email capacity, AI outreach, or a stronger support commitment.

Enterprise has custom pricing and unlimited members. The company also offers a 14-day trial. Card is the listed payment method, and the billing frequency is monthly for the priced paid plans.

Platforms

Mybers supports web, iOS, Android, and API access. The browser-based installation avoids app-store installation, while branded organization apps require Club or a higher plan.

Who it's for

Mybers is aimed initially at small to mid-sized associations with 50–5,000 members, and also serves gyms, nonprofits, clubs, congregations, and other member groups. Unlimited member counts across the listed plans can suit organizations growing beyond that initial audience, although email volume and payment fees remain important operating costs. Support is available through the dashboard feedback button or support@mybers.com; teams that need priority support with an SLA must choose Pro.

Pros and cons

Pros: Unlimited members on all plans, including free, avoids member-count pricing tiers.
Pros: Member administration, events, classes, payments, and email share one platform, particularly useful for groups that run regular programming.
Pros: Browser installation across iOS, Android, and desktop, with branded apps on Club and above, gives organizations a path from basic access to branded mobile presence.
Cons: Email is capped at 500, 5,000, or 10,000 messages per month by plan, so high-volume communications may push a group toward a more expensive tier.
Cons: Self-serve dues and class-pass transactions carry 1% and 2% fees respectively, adding costs beyond the subscription.
Cons: Webhooks have no automatic retry, so teams integrating external systems need to account for missed deliveries.

Alternatives

membermojo is worth considering for a web-only group that prefers annual pricing: its 100-member plan is 50.00 GBP per year, though it is not a like-for-like match for Mybers’ unlimited-member plans.
ChamberedIn may suit organizations that want a choice between a 499.00 USD per month Premier plan with 250 members included and a no-upfront-cost revenue-share option.
MemberOrganizer is a paid alternative with a free trial and plans priced by member range, making it a candidate for groups comfortable with a member-based monthly tier.
MembershipWorks offers a free web plan capped at 50 accounts and a 35.00 USD per month plan for up to 300 accounts, which may better fit a smaller group willing to accept account caps.
Paid Memberships Pro is an open-source, self-hosted option for organizations that want GPLv2 software they can run on as many sites as desired.
Recur is a paid alternative with a 100.00 USD per month plan for up to 1,000 contacts; it may suit organizations evaluating a contact-capped monthly option.
WildApricot is a paid alternative with a 66.00 USD per month plan for 100 contacts and full customer support, and may be preferable to a group seeking that defined contact tier.
Intavera is another freemium membership-management alternative.

Verdict

Choose Mybers if your association, club, studio, or gym wants unlimited member records alongside events, classes, payments, and communications, with browser-based mobile access and optional AI tools. Its strongest advantage is that breadth across member operations; look elsewhere if transaction fees, monthly email caps, or the webhook retry limitation conflict with your scale or integration needs.
