Aptos Merchandising helps omnichannel retailers manage merchandise and inventory across enterprise operations and locations. Its perpetual inventory system synchronizes merchandise, while core functions include item, vendor and cost management, purchase orders, and analytics. Allocation, forecasting and replenishment use plans, actuals and trends to align stock with demand. Forecasting features include automated algorithm selection and adjustment, what-if scenarios, and SKU-level forecasts based on daily sales and inventory patterns. A centralized transactional database shares current information for coordinating purchasing, pricing, receiving, allocation and replenishment. Integrated Accounts Payable matching and Stock Ledger connect merchandising with accounting across purchase orders, receipts and invoices. An optional Aptos Warehouse Management System supports receiving, ticketing, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping and cross-docking. Aptos says the solution integrates with third-party software and its Unified Commerce products, including POS synchronization and coordination with Aptos OMS. Toolio

Toolio is a web-based, cloud merchandising platform for retail and fashion teams. It brings merchandise planning, open-to-buy, assortment, allocation, size and color planning, location planning, seasonal planning, channel planning, and scenario planning into one workspace. Merchants, planners, and finance teams can approve purchase orders, transfers, and replenishments, automate workflows, review exception insights, and receive weekly chatbot recaps before exporting approved work to an ERP. AI forecasting and scenario tools account for out-of-stocks, promotions, holiday shifts, and unusual events. Teams collaborate through shared updates, comments, notifications, and granular read/write permissions, while custom views cover metrics, attributes, and timeframes. Toolio’s MCP Server connects data with Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, and other compatible platforms.
