| Maker | The repository is published under the GitHub account YamsSE. | The repository identifies Ilya Zlobintsev as its owner and describes LACT as a Linux GPU Configuration And Monitoring Tool. |
| Monitoring | The overlay can display clocks, temperatures, power, utilization, VRAM, FPS, 1% Low / 99% FPS, and frame time. | It provides configurable historical charts for power, thermals, and frequency, throttling information, and CSV export. |
| Profiles | Users can save and load named tuning profiles and configure a profile to apply when Arc Power starts. | Profiles can activate automatically based on running processes or gamemode status. |
| Purpose | Arc Power provides driver-backed tuning, monitoring, graphics settings, profiles, and an in-game overlay for Intel Arc GPUs. | LACT lets users control AMD, Nvidia, or Intel GPUs on Linux. |
| Undervolting | Alchemist GPUs support a driver-backed negative voltage offset bounded to -200 mV. | GPU undervolting is available through voltage offsets on AMD and VF curves on Nvidia. |

In their own words
Arc Power
Arc Power is a free Windows utility for Intel Arc graphics cards. It combines driver-backed tuning, hardware monitoring, graphics options, saved profiles and an in-game overlay in one application. Supported controls can cover clock speeds, power limits, temperature targets and fan behavior, depending on the selected GPU and its driver. The overlay reports clocks, temperatures, power, utilization, VRAM, FPS, 1% Low and 99% FPS readings, plus frame time. Alchemist cards can receive a negative voltage offset down to -200 mV. Named tuning profiles can be saved, loaded and set to apply when Arc Power launches. Graphics controls include XeSS Frame Generation, synchronization, frame limits, low-latency options and supported display settings. Reversible Windows graphics tweaks are also available. Arc A3/A5/A7 and B580/B570 are verified working; Arc Pro B50 and integrated Arc graphics are limited to tweaks and telemetry. Arc tuning needs an Intel Arc GPU, while AMD and NVIDIA cards may appear for telemetry. Windows 10 or 11 64-bit is required, with installer and portable downloads.
LACT
LACT is a free, MIT-licensed Linux tool for controlling and monitoring AMD, Nvidia, and Intel GPUs. It reports VBIOS, VRAM, hardware units, Resizable BAR status, and Vulkan features. Monitoring provides configurable historical charts for power, thermals, and frequency, plus throttling information and CSV export. Controls include power caps, AMD power states, GPU and VRAM clocks, and custom fan curves on AMD and Nvidia. Undervolting uses voltage offsets on AMD and VF curves on Nvidia. Profiles can activate according to running processes or gamemode status. A system service applies GPU configuration without depending on a graphical session and can run headless from a configuration file. LACT includes an OpenTelemetry metrics exporter and exposes a JSON API over a Unix socket or TCP. The TCP listener is disabled by default; remote TCP management has no authentication or encryption. Packages are listed for several Linux distributions, with Flatpak and Docker service-only options. Available controls vary by GPU generation, driver, and hardware.
