Overview

MyWebAR is a no-code authoring platform for augmented-reality experiences delivered through the web. It suits creators and teams that want to build browser-accessible AR without requiring viewers to install an app. Its range of tracking and publishing options is appealing, but the free tier’s low annual view cap and non-commercial restriction make it a limited way to launch a public project.

Key features

A drag-and-drop editor combines images, video, 3D models and other assets with interactive actions, then lets creators publish an experience. That visual workflow should suit people assembling web AR from existing assets; the platform also offers generative tools to create images, textures and 3D models for projects.

Tracking choices include flat and curved images, faces, objects and the surrounding world. Experiences run in browsers across iOS, Android, ChromeOS, Windows, macOS and Linux, without an app installation for the audience. They can also be embedded in webpages or native iOS and Android apps, which gives publishers options for incorporating AR into existing destinations.

Reports cover performance measures such as views and audience geography. Listed integrations and extensions include Unity, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads and LinkedIn Ads. DEVAR’s security measures document says access to systems containing developer and end-user data requires two-factor and/or federated authentication, and communications use strong encryption such as HTTPS or TLS.

Pricing

Creator is free: it allows five projects, 100 views per year and 100 MB of storage, with non-commercial use only. That is enough for a small personal project or initial exploration, but the annual view cap and usage restriction rule it out for most public or business-facing launches. Support on this tier is through the Learning Center.

Pro costs 39.00 USD per month when billed monthly, or USD 25/month when billed yearly. It raises the allowance to 120,000 views per year, 1 GB of storage and up to 50 AR experiences, and adds a custom domain and commercial use. Email support accompanies the plan. It is the clearest step up for a creator or small team publishing a commercial experience, though the annual view allowance still calls for attention if audience demand may grow.

Ultimate costs 399.00 USD per month billed monthly, or USD 250/month billed yearly. It provides unlimited experiences, 5 GB of storage, external asset storage for unlimited views and white-label experiences. This tier is aimed at larger publishing needs and branded delivery rather than a modest portfolio.

Phygital Marketing costs 1199.00 USD per month billed monthly, or USD 959/month billed yearly. Its audience insights, ad retargeting and lookalike audiences make it the relevant tier for campaigns built around audience targeting. Ultimate Plus costs 2499.00 USD per month billed monthly, or USD 1999/month billed yearly; it adds 3D object tracking, spatial tracking and 10 GB of storage for projects that need those capabilities.

Enterprise has custom pricing and offers a personalized plan, exclusive features, a personal manager, technology licensing and AR development services. Support on several paid plans includes priority email and live chat; Enterprise includes a personal manager. A 14-day trial is available. The listed paid-plan prices and feature sets distinguish the tiers, but the view and storage allowances should be weighed against the scale and type of work before committing.

Platforms

The authoring platform is available on Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web and Windows. Published experiences run in browsers on those operating systems as well as ChromeOS, so audiences can access them without installing an app. Webpage and native iOS or Android app embedding provide additional ways to distribute a project.

Who it's for

MyWebAR is best suited to creators, marketers and organizations that want to make interactive AR experiences for browser delivery, particularly when image, face or world tracking, embedded distribution or audience reporting matters. Pro is the practical starting point for commercial use. The free Creator tier is better reserved for non-commercial projects with very small audiences. Teams needing higher-scale publishing, white-label delivery, campaign audience tools, advanced tracking or development services have higher plans to consider, but those tiers carry substantially higher prices.

Pros and cons

Pro: Browser delivery across desktop and mobile systems avoids requiring an app installation from viewers.
Pro: Multiple tracking modes, generative asset tools and webpage or app embedding give creators several ways to build and distribute an experience.
Pro: Pro provides a defined commercial route, a custom domain and a substantially larger view allowance than Creator.
Con: Creator is non-commercial and capped at 100 views per year, making it unsuitable for a business launch or broad public reach.
Con: Storage and view limits remain important on paid tiers, and the higher plans become costly for users who only need basic authoring and publishing.

Alternatives

JigSpace is worth considering for a smaller guided presentation: its free plan is capped at three active Jigs, three steps and 100 MB of team storage, with two user seats.

BlippBuilder may fit someone who wants to create and test projects before paying, but its free Starter plan does not include publishing.

Kivicube offers a free Basic plan for non-commercial use, with two scenes, 500 scene experiences, ads and a 30 MB model-upload limit; it may suit a project that can work within those constraints.

STYLY is another freemium AR option to compare, with a free Creator plan that includes limited commercial use, location-alignment features, smartphone and HMD support, and basic features.

WorldCAST may be a better fit when unlimited monthly views and no expiry date matter: its free Creator plan also permits personal and commercial use and includes basic analytics.

Creo is a paid alternative with a shared concurrent license for organizational users and support and maintenance included.

Reality Composer is a free option for work centered on iPhone and iPad, and requires iOS 17.0 or later or iPadOS 17.0 or later.

WorkLink Create is another paid option for AR creation.

Verdict

Choose MyWebAR if you want a visual, no-code route to browser-based AR and need a commercial path that can scale beyond a small test project. Its tracking variety, embedding options and browser reach are real strengths. Look elsewhere if you need a generous free commercial tier, or if the limits and cost of the paid plans do not fit the size of your intended audience.
