In their own words

Argon Chat

Argon Chat is hosted voice chat for gaming communities, combining calls with multiplayer games and rewards for time spent in voice. It advertises noise suppression and low-latency voice, while an overlay shows who is speaking during gameplay. PlayFrame places multiplayer games inside voice channels without separate game installs. Users earn XP and collectible coins with rarity tiers and redeem codes. Communities can set roles, ranks, and per-channel permissions, and the app supports friends, direct messages, and one-to-one calls. Bots support moderation, music, and games; developers can use a bot API with REST endpoints and real-time Server-Sent Events for messages, roles, voice, and other events. Security listings include passwordless login, two-factor authentication, and session control. The privacy policy describes encryption at rest, access controls, account deletion, and data-access rights, and says Argon does not sell personal data or use third-party targeted advertising. Argon is in open beta. Its free plan includes voice, messaging, screen sharing, and communities. Downloads are listed for Windows 11 64-bit and macOS 26+ Apple Silicon.

GameVox

GameVox provides voice, video, and text chat for gaming communities, including teams, clans, roleplay servers, and groups of friends. Its servers combine channels, file storage, and screen sharing; the free plan allows up to 100 members, five voice channels, eight text channels, 2 GB of storage, and 500 MB per file. Free users can share screens at 1080p 30fps, while Diamond servers support up to native 4K 60fps. GameLink adds proximity voice and 3D spatial audio for Arma 3, FiveM, RedM, RAGE:MP, and alt:V. A Discord import can clone channels, roles, permissions, emoji, soundboard sounds, events, and server assets, while Discord Relay mirrors messages and related activity. Existing discord.js, discord.py, JDA, or Eris bots can run by changing gateway and REST configuration endpoints. Signup can start with a username and password without an email, phone number, or ID. Self-hosted servers keep voice, messages, files, and community data on the operator's machine while using GameVox cloud for authentication and updates. GameVox launched in open beta in 2026 and supports web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
