In their own words
ARMO Platform
ARMO Platform is a Kubernetes-focused cloud security platform that uses runtime data to help secure cloud and container environments. It uses eBPF to record application behavior and build an Application Profile DNA baseline enriched with Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud, and container context. Its coverage includes managed, on-premises, and air-gapped cloud and Kubernetes deployments. Kubernetes security features aim to reduce attack surfaces and continuously harden clusters, containers, hosts, and workloads. Agentless cloud posture management scans configurations and vulnerabilities, supports detection and response, and provides compliance remediation across AWS, GCP, Azure, and other environments. A runtime sensor creates workload SBOMs and identifies components in use; vulnerability prioritization draws on runtime context, EPSS, CISA-KEV, CVSS, exploitability, and fixability. Integrations include developer tools such as VSCode, Kubernetes Lens, GitHub, CircleCI, Jenkins, and Docker Desktop, plus SIEM options including Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Sumo Logic, and Webhook. Customers can use ARMO hosting, a private tenant in their cloud, or an on-premises installation. Pricing depends on vCPUs and other cloud resources, and a 21-day trial is listed.
Wiz Defend
Wiz Defend provides real-time threat detection, investigation, and response across cloud environments, including AI applications. It combines runtime signals from the Wiz sensor, cloud and SaaS logs, and agentless risk context to trace attack paths and assess possible blast radius. Telemetry maps to MITRE ATT&CK, and the product identifies coverage gaps before an incident. Its Blue Agent triages threats and prepares an investigation and verdict for analyst review. Response options include cloud containment playbooks, root-cause analysis, source-code remediation, and automation through Wiz Workflows. Wiz Defend detects AI runtime threats including prompt injection, model exfiltration, and MCP server attacks. The Wiz Sensor add-on monitors and protects VM, containerized, and serverless container workloads. Kubernetes capabilities include file integrity monitoring, drift detection, threat monitoring, and blocking on container hosts. Integration with Google Security Operations lets analysts investigate in either platform, with threat status, severity, and comments syncing in real time. Wiz describes the product for SOC, threat intelligence, and incident response teams. Licensing is modular, with pricing by request; there is no free plan.
