In their own words
Armourer's Workshop
Armourer's Workshop is a free Minecraft Java mod for creating voxel art that changes or adds to player, equipment, and other models. Players can also create decoration blocks for their worlds and share creations through global or server-specific libraries. Equipped player skins can be managed with commands or a GUI, while commands and configuration can make most modded items skinable. The project states support for Better Combat and Epic Fight, among other mods. Downloads are listed for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, and the maker's repository includes separate Fabric and Forge project directories. The latest listed release is Build 3.4.0 Beta 3; its notes flag extensive code refactoring and advise backing up a world before updating. The project wiki says it is still being developed, with some pages incomplete. The repository license is Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported. Listed component categories include head, chest, torso, skirt, arms, hands, thighs, legs, feet, wings, phalanxes, and outfit; export formats include OBJ and PLY, with animation support.
Customizable Player Models
Customizable Player Models is a free, MIT-licensed project for creating custom avatars for Minecraft Java Edition. Its editor lets users alter vanilla player parts, add custom model parts and textures, and hide or move pieces of the normal player model. Textures can be animated, and parts of a skin can glow. Models must be exported and loaded by uploading the exported image as a Minecraft skin; exported models can also be stored in unused skin space or as a GitHub Gist. Export options include a Minecraft skin file, .cpmmodel, and Base64 model data. The maker lists mod downloads for Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, and Quilt across Minecraft versions. An optional Bukkit/Spigot plugin supports in-game skin changes and offers the same features as installing the mod on a Forge or Fabric server. Voice chat animations need separate compatibility mods. ViveCraft support is listed, and OSC-driven animations require the CPM OSC compatibility addon. The model-sharing site is under development; the project links to Discord for support and bug reports.
