Overview

Jiminny is a conversation and revenue intelligence platform that brings sales emails, calls, and video meetings into a CRM-linked record. It is best suited to sales teams that want conversation capture alongside manager coaching and pipeline insight. Teams looking only for call recording may find the contract commitment and setup fee hard to justify.

Automatic notes and deal signals make Jiminny more than a meeting archive: it can transcribe and summarize conversations, suggest action items, score calls, and alert teams to risks or opportunities. Its usefulness depends on managers and reps putting those records and signals into their sales process.

Key features

Conversation capture and AI notes

Jiminny captures emails, phone calls, and video calls. Its AI notetaker records, transcribes, and summarizes conversations and can suggest action items, reducing the need for reps to reconstruct discussions after the fact. Support for more than 60 transcription languages is useful for multilingual teams, though the product’s broader coaching and revenue features may be unnecessary for buyers who need only transcripts.

Coaching and deal insight

Automated call scoring, sales coaching insights, AI-powered deal insights, and real-time alerts are designed to help teams focus review on call quality and surface pipeline risks or opportunities. Those tools give managers more than a transcript to work with, but they are most relevant when the team has a regular coaching and deal-review process.

CRM, integrations, and security

Jiminny offers native apps for Salesforce and HubSpot, plus direct integrations for Zoho, Pipedrive, Close, Bullhorn, and Copper. Its integrations also span calendar, dialer, sales tools, and video conferencing categories. This breadth can suit teams with an established CRM stack; buyers should match the listed connections to their own workflow before committing.

Jiminny says it is SOC 2 Type II certified and complies with GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA. It describes encryption in transit and at rest, AWS hosting, SSO, two-factor authentication, granular permissions, disaster recovery, monitoring, and regular security testing. Its Trust Center lists EU-US, UK-US, and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework badges. These controls make the platform relevant to organizations with formal security requirements.

Support includes Customer Success, live chat, email, a Knowledge Base, onboarding sessions, and training resources. That mix is useful for teams implementing a conversation workflow, rather than just adding a lightweight recorder.

Pricing

Jiminny has a free plan and paid seats from $42/user/mo, but the free and paid options serve different roles. The Listener Seat is $0/month and is intended for users who need transcripts and summaries. The Insights Seat is 42.00 USD per month for managers or coaches who review and act on data; the Recording Seat is 83.00 USD per month for reps who join and record calls. The higher recording price reflects its role in capturing rep conversations, while the lower Insights seat is aimed at downstream review rather than recording.

Paid seats require a minimum 12-month contract, billed monthly or annually at a discount, and a one-time setup fee applies; there is no platform fee. Monthly billing therefore does not mean a month-to-month commitment. Jiminny also describes paid pricing as custom quote, so buyers should confirm the full seat mix and setup cost before comparing totals. A 14-day trial offers full features with no credit card required, useful for evaluating the workflow before taking on the term.

The MCP Connector is limited to the Scale and Grow tiers and is unavailable to users with the Listener role. Teams that require this connector need to account for both tier and seat eligibility.

Platforms

Jiminny supports Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, web, API, and browser extension access. This range can accommodate distributed teams working across desktop and mobile environments.

Who it's for

Jiminny is a stronger fit for sales organizations that want conversation records tied to CRM activity and intend to use scoring, coaching, and deal alerts in ongoing reviews. The Listener Seat gives transcript and summary access at no charge, while managers and recording reps can be assigned distinct paid seats. It is a weaker fit for buyers who need only a basic recorder or who cannot accept a 12-month minimum and setup fee.

Pros and cons

Pros: Automatic recording, transcription, summaries, and suggested action items reduce manual conversation follow-up.
Pros: Coaching insights, call scoring, deal insights, and real-time alerts connect conversation capture to manager review and pipeline work.
Pros: Salesforce and HubSpot apps plus integrations for several other CRMs give teams multiple routes to connect sales records.
Pros: A $0/month Listener Seat and a 14-day full-feature trial allow evaluation and transcript access without immediately buying recording seats.
Cons: Paid seats carry a minimum 12-month contract and one-time setup fee, limiting flexibility for short-term or small-scale use.
Cons: The Recording Seat costs 83.00 USD per month, making it a more substantial commitment than the $42.00 Insights Seat.
Cons: MCP Connector access is restricted to Scale and Grow tiers and excludes Listener users.

Verdict

Choose Jiminny if your sales team will use recorded conversations not just as documentation but as input to coaching and deal reviews. Its combination of CRM-linked capture, AI notes, scoring, and pipeline signals is the central reason to choose it; the 12-month minimum and setup fee are the main reasons to look elsewhere.
