In their own words
Artweaver
Artweaver is digital painting software for beginners and advanced users, with customizable brushes and image-editing tools. Its brush system simulates natural painting tools, and brush settings can be saved as variants or custom categories. Users can clone colors from images, mirror a painting, and work with a 16-bit brush engine. Editing tools include gradients, cropping, filling, and selections, alongside layers, layer groups, blend modes, and transparency. Plugins can extend the software, and users can record a painting process as events to save and replay later. Artweaver runs on Windows and macOS: the Windows version requires Windows 10 64-bit version 21H2 or later, and the macOS version requires macOS 13.x or later. Artweaver Free costs nothing and is limited to non-commercial and academic use. Artweaver Plus has a perpetual license with no subscription, commercial use, and advanced features; the license works on all computers owned by its holder and includes free updates within the same major version. Without a license key, Plus runs as a time-limited trial, but no duration is stated.
