Whistler
Whistler is a web platform for organizations to receive confidential whistleblowing reports and manage related cases. Reporters can submit reports without accounts using a URL on a computer, tablet, or smartphone, with no download required. The reporting form is available in 12 languages, and reporters can attach documents, images, and audio files; each uploaded file is limited to 5 MB. Attachments are encrypted with the report. Organizations can create cases, link reports, add internal notes, and retain an audit trail of case actions. Whistler says the reporting page contains no trackers, analytics, or embedded third-party content, and no integration with existing systems is required. Its security information describes HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher for data in transit, AES-256 for stored data, and a one-time decryption key for each report that is unavailable to Whistler staff. It runs on AWS infrastructure using data centers certified to ISO 27001 and SOC 2. Plans start at $19 a month; there is no free plan, but a 30-day trial is available.
