Overview

Plannit is lawn-care business software built around repeat visits, crew coordination, and customer billing. It is best suited to landscaping operators managing ongoing work across multiple properties. Its broad workflow is a strength, but the free plan’s tight job cap and the paid tiers’ per-user charges deserve attention.

Scheduling, customer records, routes, quotes, invoices, and payments sit in one product. Records can connect multiple addresses with customer histories, notes, and messages, while field tools include checklists, GPS tracking, a punch clock, and team chat. That combination can help keep office and field work connected; businesses seeking a dedicated tool outside lawn care and landscaping should compare their needs carefully.

Key features

Recurring work and field coordination

Recurring and seasonal visits can be scheduled and assigned to crews, matching the repeated service cycles common in lawn care. Optimized routes, GPS tracking, a mobile punch clock, checklists, and team chat give managers several ways to coordinate work in the field. Plannit says its mobile app is included for communications, jobs, and field information.

Team scheduling and dispatch, reminders, follow-ups, and app permissions are Pro features. The paid tier is therefore more relevant than Free for a company coordinating a team rather than simply tracking jobs with a small user group.

Customer and billing workflow

Customer records support multiple addresses, searchable histories, notes, and linked messages, useful when one client has several service locations or a long work history. Estimates, customizable quotes, invoice templates, contract renewals, and embedded online payments cover much of the journey from proposal to collection. Plannit says its payment provider is PCI Compliance Level 1 certified.

Accounting sync appears in Premium, whose listed interfaces include QuickBooks, Sage, and Acomba, with invoice and payment syncing. That makes Premium the relevant tier for businesses that want those accounting connections; they are not part of the lower paid plan’s stated feature set.

Pricing

The Free plan is free forever. It includes two users, job requests and customers, scheduling, job tracking and work orders, quotes, invoicing, and online payments. The comparison caps job tracking at 25 jobs per month. That is a practical way for a very small operator to start, but the job ceiling and two-user limit may quickly constrain a busier crew.

Pro costs 59.00 USD per month, billed monthly, or $49/mo. billed annually. It includes three users; additional users cost $10/mo./user. Along with the Free plan’s core workflow, Pro adds team scheduling and dispatch, automated reminders and follow-ups, and team access and app permissions. It suits operators ready to coordinate staff, though growing teams should account for the extra seat cost.

Premium costs 129.00 USD per month, billed monthly, or $109/mo. billed annually. Five users are included, with additional users at $10/mo./user. Accounting sync, routes and GPS, custom fields, contract renewals, and batch invoicing are listed at this level. It is the clearer fit for businesses needing the accounting and route tools; moving up from Pro more than doubles the monthly-billed price.

Grow costs 199.00 USD per month, billed monthly, or $169/mo. billed annually. It includes five users, with additional users at $10/mo./user, plus smart call answering, call and campaign tracking, API, and integrations. Those additions make it the tier to consider when call handling and broader integrations matter; otherwise, Premium’s listed operations and accounting tools may be more pertinent.

A free trial of a paid plan requires a credit card. The card is not charged if the trial is canceled before it ends. Businesses should factor that cancellation condition into any trial.

Platforms

Plannit supports Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. That spread accommodates office access across desktop platforms alongside mobile field use. The company says its mobile app is included; mobile access is also identified for iOS.

Who it's for

Plannit is aimed at lawn care and landscaping companies managing recurring jobs, crews, and routes. It is a stronger match for operators who want scheduling, customer history, field coordination, and billing tied together than for businesses that need only a basic job tracker. The Free plan fits a small start, while teams needing dispatch, route/GPS features, or accounting sync should compare the paid tiers and seat costs against their workload.

Pros and cons

Pros: Recurring and seasonal scheduling, crew assignment, route tools, and field coordination address the recurring service cycle in one product.
Pros: Multi-address customer histories and connected estimates, invoices, renewals, and online payments can keep service and billing context together.
Pros: Free forever includes scheduling, job tracking, quotes, invoicing, and payments, giving a small operator a no-cost starting point.
Cons: Free is limited to two users and 25 tracked jobs per month, which can be restrictive as work or staffing grows.
Cons: Paid plans include only three or five users, then charge $10/mo./user for additional seats.
Cons: A credit card is required for a paid-plan trial, even though cancellation before the trial ends avoids a charge.

Verdict

Plannit is a sensible choice for lawn-care and landscaping businesses that need recurring scheduling, crew coordination, customer records, and billing in one workflow. Its strongest case is the combination of field operations and customer-to-payment tools, with a free entry point for very small operations. Look elsewhere if the 25-job free cap, paid-tier seat charges, or credit-card trial requirement do not suit your operation.
